Maybe part of the problem I had with SOS is last time I watched it I watched it after Biollante. And it simply did not hold up very well at all.

Thats it! Don´t watch it after G vs Biolante! One of the greatest heiseis can easily compare with one of the mid-ranked millenniums.

The design would have worked as its own monster, but it's definitely not Godzilla. Still, there were some things from the design I'd like to see applied to the Toho design (sleeker body, spike orientation, etc).

I like it too. Sure it has some GINO aspects but if the show him to be almost indestructible and has a powerful plasma breath then there shouldn't be a problem.

I know, the head makes me suggest it will be a fat Godzilla, yet most of the concept art(fan made) are more slender. But they look way more bad butt, look evil/sinister and a force of nature at the same time.There was this real cool Godzilla 2012(most likely be 2013 or 2014) concept design that was a combination of what I think was G2000 and GMK.

Yeah it's gotten tiresome. Every time I come to this thread I see nothing but totally random Deviant Art links to Godzilla re-designs, some of which are absolutely terrible.

As an artist, I love looking at these, even the bad ones. There are many creative ways of designing Godzilla.
