I looked back at the articles i read and they said falling profits. I just remembered the articles wrong.

Also

Also, software is entirely subjective on which ones are better.

I never said which ones were better I said which ones were selling.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

The box art is pretty nice looking. It did remind me of the Gamecube when I saw it.

Hopefully MHTri Ultimate incorporates some of the new features that MH 4 was shown to have (like jumping on monsters and such)

Preordered this sucker.

It may bite me in the back, but this looks 10 times more promising than Wii. Picking up Mario Bros. WiiU on launch with Wonderful 101 and Pikmin if they're ready for the launch time frame.

Seems like the extra $50+tax is worth it.

Well after the "U Explosion"... 8-)
a lot of goodies got revealed:

*Price
*Release Date
*Games
*Accesories
*Editions (Basic and Premium)
*Memory
*Some Functions (Wii Transfer)

Indeed a lot better than E3. I think i better save up money from now...

$300 is not that bad. I will wait until later when more games come out for it.

The Super Mario Bros game looks fun but I don't think I will waste $300 on it. There is also the New Super Mario Bros on the 3DS and this game looks no different.

At this point, I think the only way nintendo could get me to buy the Wii U is with a discount and to come out with a new metroid game. There will most likely be a discount before we see another Metroid game. Some people are predicting a price cut for the Wii U around April.

Every console in history runs on old hardware. I already had a PC when PS3 came out that destroyed it hardware-wise. Making a console with top of the line hardware is impossible. It takes too long to release the system for it to be up to date, and even if you could release it quickly, it would be absurdly expensive to make up for the hardware costs.

Edit: To put it in perspective, the PS3's GPU was based on the Nvidia 7900 series, except it had several things toned down like the memory speed to about the level of the 7600 series. Basically, the PS3 graphics card at the very highest estimate it would score a 723 on the G3D Mark benchmark (the same as the 7900GTX card). Before the PS3 was even released, Nvidia already had the 8 series cards out, with the 8800GTX scoring 1048 In the same benchmark. That is nearly a 50% boost in performance just over a one year time span. Keep in mind the PS3 was released at $500 minimum, and Sony lost money with each sale.

No matter what console you buy, it will always, always, always be outdated.

I think Nintendo needs to get back to being competitive in the hardcore market. I feel like the Nintendo started to go down hill with the Wii since they choose to stand behind compare to the 360 and PS3. I still think the Wii U will suffer the same problems that the Wii had where most of the games for it already exist on other consoles.

I honestly think the Wii U will be a failure. Not a SALES failure but with everything else. Games, Online, extras, etc. It may have some good first party games but I will wait a year to see if 3rd party is still around. I have no intention of getting it.

What I'm worried about is that Nintendo hasn't said very much at all about the online service.
