He feared that its gonna be pretty dark & brooding

I saw response where someone was really hyped, saying he can't wait and then asking if it's still coming out in 2012.

It's sad. I for one will miss Donkun now that he's leaving the fandom.

Too true.![]()
Though I can't blame people cause it can easily fit either Godzilla or King Ghidorah. I think the fact he is using a world destroying god as a metaphor for atomic weapons is what threw people off. It's meant to be for Godzilla since he is a living atomic weapon and the guy was talking about nukes but his metaphor with the world destroying god could easily apply to King Ghidorah since he is a world destroyer supposedly.

Megaton17 wrote:This isn't a complaint, but I was expecting this to happen: a sleeker (but NOT anorexic) Godzilla would be shown in the trailer and you guys would throw a shitfit.
As for the pictures of the design shown, I like it so far but I'd like to see more of it.
I'm not surprised about the GINO fans bashing on the new design, I've dealt with them in the past.

As opposed to all the real life monsters who have stars?

Living Corpse wrote:Well, Godzilla CAN destroy the world, King Ghidorah HAS, CAN, and WILL destroy several.
As long as it looks like Godzilla and not GINO we'd be fine with even an anorexic or just skinny. Hell we've already accepted Heisei and GMK Godzilla and they're fat. "Legendary Godzilla" might just be monster for us to love if reports about his design being classic looking are anything to go by..

Prove that it's a "misconception".

...touche. I can't prove anything. Still, the quote has nothing to do with KG in terms of the quotes origins.
I could be completely wrong though. However, I feel that if they were going to use KG, they would have had him in the trailer instead of that centipede monster.

This famous quote is probably the most haunting and fitting thing Legendary could have added to the trailer, and only a few people got it.

I hated the fact that people thought this was actually Raymond Burr talking.
