Ah man, I LOVE the cheesiness of G2K's US dub...so bad it's good at many points.

I think G2K has a genuinely good dub.

I think Shinoda is about as good of a dub as you can get. The voice matches the character and there's very little overracting. He did a great job IMO. Katagiri has a badass though clearly over-the-top voice. Yuki and Io's voices are grating, however.

The intentionally cheesy dialogue is what makes the dub laughable or "bad" at points.

1. Godzilla 2000: Godzilla blowing Orga up then roaring at the carcass, knocking Katagiri off the rooftop

2. Godzilla vs. Megaguirus: Biting off Megaguirus' stinger, the "spike duck", and firing atomic breath into the black hole

3. GMK: Godzilla's beating heart and Godzilla hitting Baragon with his tail midair

4. X Mechagodzilla: Kiryu's arm blade, Kiryu walking through the building

5. Tokyo S.O.S: Godzilla tripping Kiryu then blasting him in the face, Godzilla biting off Mothra's leg, Godzilla attacking the submarine

6. Final Wars: Godzilla blasting off Gigan's head. Godzilla piling up Anguirus, Rodan and King Caesar at Mt. Fuji., Keizar Ghidorah absorbing G's energy

My favorite "Millennium moment" would be at the beginning of GMK, when we first see Godzilla's spines moving over the sea floor. Such an ominous moment.

Unfortunately, none come to mind for the Kiyru series. Except for Godzilla's electrical appearance in the beginning I thought they were kind of lackluster.

Unfortunately, none come to mind for the Kiyru series. Except for Godzilla's electrical appearance in the beginning I thought they were kind of lackluster.

On the other hand, I can come up with a shitload of "HOLY CRAP WOW!!" moments from Tokyo SOS that the audience watching the film at G-Fest in 2004 absolutely ate up. The Kiryu movies aren't the strongest films but they have some incredible effects scenes and money shots.
