I always good top grades in english classes despite almost never studying for the tests and I almost never opened my school english book. also I got an "advanced" english while in was in London for a trip that also included english classes. I learnt 90% of my english by watching cartoons on cartoon network from a young age haha

Well it looks like I'm about the 8th person to chime in from California (Sacramento). Not too far from some of the others I've seen. If you can get to San Francisco, or L.A., there are tons of Godzilla fans there, and merchandise in specialty shops as well. Much more fun than shopping on the internet.

I'm an American expat who's been living in Japan for 6 years (I've hopped all over the place over here...now I am hopefully settled in Tokyo for the long haul...moved to Tokyo in April). Prior to moving to Japan, I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri...for a daikaiju fan and collector, this is about the *worst* place to be a G fan....other than the St. Louis Cardinals and some of the great local food, there's not a damn thing I miss and I rarely go back there other than very short trips to visit my parents (and to bring my latest G goodies home). Also lived for a brief time in San Diego, CA (which I liked, but it was too expensive) and Germany as well (And GMK Godzilla, I have heard of Slovenia as I went to its capital Ljubljana once...beautiful city and country)...

I too grew up in St. Louis! Spent a majority of my childhood there before I began moving all over the place. I can agree, not the best place to be a G-Fan though. XD

I've mentioned before that I currently live on the island of Guam. Essentially it's US territory, a protectorate to be technical, so it's not like I'm too isolated from the American lifestyle. It's one of the BEST places to be a G-Fan outside Japan due to the fact that EMS and SAL shipping is friggin' cheap and FAST. Other than Guam I've lived in Copenhagen, Denmark; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Nairobi, Kenya. I have one more year in Guam before I graduate with my Associates Degree. After then, I am heading to Vientiane, Laos where I'll be staying for a year or two.
