Definitly. Titano actually fares alright by himself. Megalon needs someone to keep him in line. His brain is vey small as seen in the Articles section on the main site. Anguirus is actually ok as an offensive player, but he's a good gaurdian. Who else would step in a buzzaw for a friend?

Gorosaurus is another good team player. As seen in DAM, he's not good with frontal assault when dealing with a beam spammer. However, if paired with another monster with a beam, he can perform a sneak attack when the two main monsters are fighting.
I'd say the same for Gabara. He's not much of a fighter, but his electric touch would help a stronger team mate by distracting the enemy.

Mothra and Battra comes to mind the quickest.
Considering a monster like Ebirah would be kinda awkward on land, he would need a partner like Varan to help with land and sea battles.
edit* I'm all about Varan damnit!
