Godzilla's Entrance in GvsMG

Can anyone tell me why Godzilla popped out of a warehouse towards the beginning? You know, if there actually is a reason...

I presumed the warehouse was on a dock or something and he rose through the dock.

I might could buy that. It's better than what I always originally thought. I assumed it just made for a more dramatic entrance

Godzilla learned how to burrow from Anguirus.

Godzilla meant to come up from the water, but his GPS was malfunctioning.

That's how I've always seen it, too.

Teruyoshi Nakano said that, after so many movies, it was hard coming up with an introduction for Godzilla that hadn't been done before. The crew was just trying to do something unique to surprise audiences, and that was more important to them than being logical.

I think that was one of his best entrances. The word badass can be pretty much defined by that, and his entrance in the following film.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

His entrance in Terror of Mecha-Godzilla owns this particular one... Just blasts Titanosaurus with his atomic breath, (lighting) theme kicks in, an he see him come in from the shadows.

Now that was a Classic skreeonk Entrance. The Crew did a great job there...... His other great entrance i'll never forget is him rising from the Volcano in ''Godzilla vs Biollante'' that one is just as good as Terror of Mecha-G's

Maybe the Simians captured him, stored him and made the suit while he was tranqualized. That could explain how the suit looks perfect. He woke up, broke out and attacked in a rage.

Better put down the G-Fan, my friend. That name isn't official in any way. I have no idea why people keep using it.

I think I heard it in the youtube fan film Godzilla X The Kaiju Killer (an excellent film). The secondary villain Mugal (isnt that a villain in GvsMG?) resembles them and he is called Simian. Also, wikipedia calls them that (but thats just wiki).

Yes, and the Wiki entry for King Ghidorah calls the aliens in MONSTER ZERO the "Xians," which is another unofficial name that was adopted by G-Fan and other publications in the 90s but fell out of use when Toho made GFW.

They're "Black Hole Aliens," or if you prefer a longer name, "Aliens from the Third Planet of the Black Hole, Outer Space." It's a lot easier to type "Simians," but that doesn't mean it's what they really are.

Carthormerr wrote:What's the biggg deal? The name is pretty fitting, since they are uhh... simian

Because that's the same thing as calling King Caesar, "Big Dog-Looking Thing" or "Azumi Guardian Monster." Both are fitting names, but they're not the correct ones.
