And he can do this how? He's not anywhere near the physical strength of Utsuno Ikusagami, so quit trying to ake it seem even.

In Gaira's defence, he is a bit taller than Orochi and somewhat faster. Perhaps going behind the eight head serpent can be of any good?

What will Gaira do once he gets behind Orochi? There's little he can do to hurt Orochi, let alone kill the dragon. Gaira is outclassed here, and Orochi wins easily.

Nothing much. likewise, what can Orochi do if Gaira is behind him? Whack the ugly sasquatch with his tail?

Gaira doesn't have many feats of strength, but the fact that he has a humanoid shape kinda gives him a small edge on manuevering Orochi. Its like a crocodile vs a human. Not that he can do much to him, but it would be funny seeing him try to tie Orochi's necks into a knot.
