Lego Lizard Man (AKA Lego Godzilla, Sorta)

Lego, through their Lego Minifigures line, have released a 'Man in Gorilla Suit' and a 'Lizard Man'. Exactly how representative they are of Godzilla and King Kong I'm not positive, but Lizard Man's bio notes a rivalry between the two, and they're both 'suit actors', so it's been brought to my attention some similarities are bared.

The Lizard Man looks more like Reptar IMO.

Next time I go to Toys R Us I'm so getting them.

Is there more to the set,or are those Legos in the backround for something else?

Are these from a set, or are they from the 'blind-box' sealed packets?

Ironic timing considering KKVSG turns 50 this year.

I have Lizard Man I was lucky enough to get him in the first packet I grabbed I also replaced his human head with a blank black Lego head.
    @Manda2012:They come in sealed packets.

    I think it may have been deliberate.

    The Lego Minifigures line are all in blind packages, but there are apps and such allowing you to tell who's in what bag.

    LEGO's official description:
    The Lizard Man lives to trample cities beneath his big green feet. Of course, since he’s really just a minifigure of normal size wearing a lizard suit, that’s not as easy as it sounds…so instead, he spends hours building his own meticulously detailed miniature buildings and then stomping all over them while making roaring noises.

    When your greatest dream is to be a giant monster, it’s tough to find new hobbies. The Lizard Man sometimes thinks about becoming a professional wrestler, but the Gorilla Suit Guy never writes back to any of his challenges. On the other hand, rumor has it that the Super Wrestler would be happy to take him up on the offer anytime!

    And a picture with his mask on:

    I think using the huge sunglasses for Mothra eyes was a cute idea. She looks like a happenin' sixties insect!

    Reptar is based on Godzilla, so that kind of makes sense.

    ^ That's good. My hypothetical band name is "Hillbilly Exorcism".

    P.S. Where does one buy these blind-box Legos? I don't think I've ever seen them.
