What Toys Are You Going To Buy At G-Fest 2012?

What Godzilla toys are you going to buy at G-Fest 2012?
Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman???
Personally, I will be looking to buy toys from the 1960's-1970's for my collection!
Last year I pick up a bunch of cool older figures. Mainly, small and medium sizes.

It depends on how much I can make. There are a couple vintage pieces I know that someone will have there. I'm confident that I will sell a considerable amount. But I have a goal and that I want to stick to and come home with.
I cannot think of anything that I really want. But then again last year I did not expect to come home with a GMS Gomora with box. So anything is possible.

well I might pick up some MonsterArts or some Ultra-Act if they have any, or maybe the crumble zone pack by Bandai Creation. or both.

I'll have my eye out for a 1984 Bandai Ghidorah, with the "Godzilla Collection" tag. It's not a huge priority for me, but I would like to fill that hole in my Bandai collection.

One advantage about having a Dealer's Pass is that you don't have to wait on line

Well...truth be told I already sold that Ghidorah with tag. I still have The '64 Godzilla with tag though.

I've been wanting to attend G-Fest for years! However timing has never been on my side.
Hopefully one of these days I hope to make it out there, but not any time soon. I have a better chance of attending my first Comicon before I ever go to G-Fest.

I just checked the G-Fest site - Rosemont, IL. A suburb of Chicago. Ouch! That's quite a ways from Central Texas. :(

I have about a 14 hour drive there from NY. It's a trip I do every year.

I don't know what I'll buy. It partially depends on what's available, and depends even more so on whether I'll actually manage to GO at all.

I'm hoping to pick up a few standard size Bullmarks from the Godzilla line. However, I'm not to concerned about the monster as much as condition. I like Godzilla, Gamera, Ultraman, and a few other Japanese monsters made by the older companies!
You never know what kind of toys will show up at G-Fest, but you better have the money when they do or they will be gone quick!

I DOUBT there will be any X-Plus figures there. There wasn't any last year except a couple items. In fact I had an '84 Godzilla which did not sell until the last few hours of the show. It is too costly to lay out the $ and HOPE you might make some $ off of your investment.

Where in NY are you from? This is my 2nd G-Fest, went last year and it was phenomenal.

Anyways, I have to finish off my bandai list, have to get my Gorosaurus, and my 60's Godzilla's (62, 64, 65/66, and 67) and mainly... my super premium Godzilla :-)

I don't know, grabbed the pic off google, but I am pretty sure the pic is probably from Monster Island Toys in Chicago? They have PLENTY of those.

For it being my first G-Fest last year, you should had seen the expression on my face when I first saw the dealers room. Usually I am acustom to seeing the dealers room at Monster Mania every year in Cherry Hill, NJ but that doesn't compare to what I saw it G-Fest. I was truly in heaven :D Brought home LOTS of toys!
