Hopefully it's a good show. I enjoyed the Spectacular Spider Man show even though it didn't last very long. It still wasn't as good as the 90s FoxBox show but still cool for what it was.

It's a work in progress please suggest to me how to improve it

Give me ultimate venom, make him how he is in the comics, and don't turn him into crap and I'm all aboard for this train.

I really hope this show does well because I'll be pissed if Spectacular Spider-Man was cancelled just so a new and terrible show to take over. SSM was freakin' great, so this show better be as good or better than it. I'm not a big fan of the ultimate series, but I'll look at this new show with an open mind when it comes out to see how it holds up.

First 40 or so issues of Ultimate Spider-Man were WIN to GREAT to GOOD to OK... and then 40ish plus was just total shit.

It's just another Spider-title. Nothing UBER about it any longer, especially after the reboot.

Looks like other Marvel superheros like Iron Fist and Nova will be in the TV show as well.

The real questions is what source are they to be based on ?

They'd need ALOT of background to do Marvel-616 Nova, but Marvel Adventures Nova could be do-able.

Personally, I want something funny and off the wall. Like Heroes for Hire or a new Hulk series with crossovers.

Hulk Vs. was so much win. I can see an entire series of teams tracking down the Hulk or running into him on their own.

I'm not sure why Nova is in the show since it seems like he does not fit into the series. He is better off being a Avengers or SS TV series. I think it looks like Nova in the show might be based off the Marvel Adventures version.

Nova originally was a Hal Jordan rip, just more of a screw up. After his stint in Power of Nova, we has in The New Warriors and that sucked and until Annihilation, he was left out. But he reigned in Marvel Adventures.

Spectacular Spider-Man was a good show... It was like the only cartoon I'd sit down and pay attention to.

I don't like the Ultimate Marvel Universe. I loved Spectacular Spiderman, too bad they're replacing it with this. MAYBE it will be better than the comics.

You wont like Ultimate Spider-Man. Ultimate Venom was a let down. But with Captain America, Hulk and FF, it works very well.

While I was never a big fan of Marvel, the Ultimate Avengers was an enjoyable read. Great art, and some OK to fantastic writing.

I'm not much of a fan of Spider-Man, especially when he's taken from the role of 'Urban Warrior' (where I think he should stay, IMHO) to someone who goes around on planets with the Avengers.

Ultimates 1 and 2 are good, 3 leaves ALOT to be desired. Ultimate Comics Avengers 1 and 2 are smashingly good. I love the Red Skull twist. I mean Steve Roger's illegitimate son?! How is that not win?!

The series starts out good - fresh new takes on the villains, characters are younger and easily more relatable and you dont need to read 500 back issues to understand why Spider-Mans costume has larger patches or blue then red now... I gave it a chance for 40 issues...no more I say!

Black Cat you mean? :)

I'm not a big Ultimate fan either. I don't hate the stuff, but I prefer the original universe. Everything else to me is 'what if.' The real deal comes first.
