Would there happen to be a database online showing some more Yamanaya Ultra Monsters? I saw a Yananaya Tyrant and it looked excellent. Did they make a Red King? Kingsaurus III? Black King?

I think ClubTokyo has at least some of them. Maybe this is all of them?

I like that Kong above, in the pics with the KG & Goji. Give it lotsa articulation, we got a SHMA!

Finally got a 1994 Ultramonster series Kilazee figure today, the last figure I need to complete the 1994-1996 Ultramonster line-up.

Image

So here's all three releases of this figure: 1989 series, 1991 series and 1994 series. The first two are hard to tell apart unless they have tags (the '89 has a tag, and I'm positive the tagless one in the middle is the '91) but the '94 version has a lighter orange/red vinyl base and gold paint on the wings. Glad to finally have this guy.

A new arrival from the Big Bad Toy Store...

And just for the heck of it, here's a shot of my two favorite Gigan sculpts together:

Yeah, I ordered it on Sunday. Pretty darn quick.

I can't say that the pastels were super-high on my "Gigan Colour" want list, and I never would have paid full-price for it, but now that I have the figure in my hands, it's actually damn cool looking. It definitely stands out from all the dark and metallic paint jobs on my shelf. Glad you pointed me to the sale (again).

Such an amazing piece of vinyl. Worth every cent and then some. Even the pictures aren't really doing the guy any justice...

Sorry for all the photos, but I tried to make them worth looking at. Back to admiring the Hell out of it...

Ya know, that figure gets some flak for the way the mouth is done, but otherwise it really captures the suit's face very well. Nice score!

^Well...you could have the mouth closed, the mouth open and with very brittle teeth, or you can have a "filled" mouth such as this. It's not always successful, but when you're looking at this figure in person (at least at the angle I am currently sitting), it's not a very big detail. I think this is one of the better looking figures to do this style, really...
