Teen Titans

When there's trouble, you know who to call.... TEEN TITANS!

Ahh yes, one of my favorite animated shows from my early teens and one of the few comic book related shows that I got in comic book form. Ahh yes, teen titans go loved the comic back in the day. But yeah this was one of my favorite shows to watch back then and the characters and stories were awesome! Raven and her season arc were my revived... Kind of!
Yes that's right, the show is coming back but like those DC Shorts from DC Nation and it's going to be called Teen Titans Go! I'm told the tone is going to be similar to the shorts, which I welcome but I do kind of hope the tone doesn't always stay all comedy like and does go back to it's original tone and clear up some loose ends... Also give starfire her own season too! D:<

^ Wait, what?! They're bringing my former favorite show back? Six years ago, I'd have crapped myself. Now... I don't know. This is a very strange, unexpected move. I can't help but be excited, but it's a cautious excitement. A lot of elements of the show haven't aged very well, and I really don't know if reviving it is a good idea.

We'll see, though.

I hope it comes back. This is a great show, and I would watch it anytime I can.

Same- as long as the original voice cast is back, I'm in!

Yall need to read...

The DC Nation Promos are like 2-4 minutes each.

And Teen Titans was highly annoying. Young Justice is 9000x better.

Well... okay, no, it's not. But I'm biased. And you need to read:

Though admittedly a source for this would be nice. Do you have one, mecha-gino?

It was a decent show. At time, I never care for DC comics until this show and JLU made me start to become a fan of them. I think they ended the show with some movie with them in Tokyo that came out a few years back?

Yep. I wanted Terra back, but it was good enough.

Apparently some people didn't get the news or read my post.

It's coming back.... In 2013.... And it's going to have a regular run time and won't be shorts. It will be in chibi form though and I think more of a comedy, I dunno. Read it here folks:

I still have no interest in it. Young Justice was the next logical step for the Teen Titans. Going back to this 6 year old Power Puff Girl style is just weak.

For once, I'll agree.
Still gonna watch the damn thing though.

A whole show in SD-style? And my interest level drops a few notches. I'll give it a shot anyway, but I can't really say I'm excited anymore. Still, Batman: The Brave and the Bold wound up being pretty decent; if this show can be as good as that, I'll be reasonably satisfied.

If it's ain't Ron Perlman... it ain't Deathstroke. Simple as that.

Um.. Sportsmaster is not Deathstroke, or meant to replace Deathstroke.

Ok. I know NOTHING about this 'Sportsmaster' guy anyways, I just saw Deathstroke mentioned and rode with it.

Deathstroke and The Teen Titans have a history in EVERY incarnation of the team. Young Justice is based on Teen Titans but it starts just like Young Justice did in the comics. Deathstroke was the TT 2003's first villain too.

Young Justice APPARENTLY is trying to use lesser known heroes and villians

Cheshire was a Teen Titans villain but made her bones in Secret Six (she had Catman's baby)
Sportsmaster is a Batman villain.

Look at Vandal's "Light". Ocean Master?! He's Aquaman's BROTHER! The replaced him with Black Manta because BM is a bad-ass right now in the comics. Clarion is also big right now in the 10th Age of Magic and all Vertigo books.

And Deathstroke's son was in the Titans - Jericho. But he's not in this universe. He started attacking the Titans after Jericho was killed. There's no reason yet to bring him in. Jericho MIGHT join YJ later and he could be introduced later...

I thought he started attacking the Titans after his oldest son, Grant, was killed? Grant was an assasin hired to kill the Titans, but he was killed by his employers after he failed. Or something along those lines. Jericho came along later.

I've been out of the loop for a while, though; maybe some of this was retconned recently.
