Maybe because we haven't had any objectively great kaiju-related video games? Sure, a few have been good, but I've yet to play a truly great one myself.

Anyways, as for my list (arranged generally):

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (haven't played the first two, unfortunately)

And that's all I can think of at the moment. I used to rent games all the time from the local Blockbuster, but... well...

Am I the only person who find that game to be somewhat over rated? I mean I had fun with it don't get me wrong but I really don't think it was as great as people claim it is. While it's a matter of opinion and I can completly respect that but I really don't see what made this game so amazing as far as other games that came out in the same generation I'd say Destroy All Humans was a lot more fun for me than War of the Monsters, it was a fun game but honestly for me someone who grew up on games like Primal Rage and Rampage World Tour WOTM just isn't that memorable.

Alot of people on TK (who are vocal about it anyway) thinks its the greatest, from what I've seen it's nothing too great. But yea I remember Rampage more than WOTM.

Not exactly... it's more that Primal Rage and Rampage are just more memorable to me and I feel like War of the Monsters was more of a mindless fighter where you didn't really have too much that other games before it didn't have and games made after it completly out class it. It's not a generational thing it's more I feel that game had little more to offer than cheap rip-off monsters doing things that have already been done in other games and IMO where done better in those other games than War of the Monsters.
