Zoo Tycoon

Postby zilla103192 » Thu May 24, 2012 9:25 pm

I have been on a bit of a Zoo tycoon binge lately. I ordered the complete collection on ebay, and it arrived today!

I created a Zoo, with only 1 huge cage, with every Dinosaur running around inside, with a path surounding it for visitors to get a full view.

NONE of the dinosaurs were happy, and protesters were claiming that I was mistreating the animals... but it was cool to let the Dinos run around and do their own thing.

I used to love Zoo Tycoon when I was 11 or 12 years old. I downloaded a lot of cool fan made animals like Yoshi's and Goombas at one point. I remember some guy try to make animals from the Future is Wild but I don't he ever finish them. Too bad a 3rd game was never made.

The real fun thing to do is get a popular Zoo and then make it a big exhibit, block the entrance with rocks, and fill it with only predators

Zoo Tycoon 2 was so fun! :huge: The first one never appealed to me that much.

I'm huge on this game. Used to be capable of modding it, member at virtually every forum for it, have my own site with some downloads for it. Love it to death despite my hatred for the fandom.

I loved keeping the humans trapped while releasing all the creatures and firing the workers to watch the carnage.

^ I used to do that all the time, too. It was more fun on the original Zoo Tycoon, though. The animals on ZT2 aren't as aggressive.

Yeah, this was one of my favorite games from '01 through '05-ish. I played it constantly, had all the expansion packs and everything. I don't really care for simulation games like this anymore, though. But I did get the ZT2 Complete Collection last Christmas and play it once in a while. My little brother and sister play it pretty often, too.

Really? I'm the opposite. I thought the second game was too hollow and clunky.

The first was pretty damn fun.
