Personally I'd like to see various 'unknown' actors with a couple of known stars.

Why not Gillian Anderson from the X Files? She's a pretty stunning actress.

She certainly fits the doctor/scientist mold. If you want to go with a more serious type of film, she would be a nice pick. I don't see her in a starring role, but she could be a supporting actress.

I still would like to see this film be a mix of Japanese and American actors. An all-American cast doesn't sit well with me. IMO, there needs to be a Japanese element in the film.

Exactly .I find this movie hard to case.As for a mixed set of actors,hell yea, that has to be done that way.

There are a lot of great actors that could pull off a roll in something like this. As long as the scripting meshes with their true abilities. I do not want to see any of the latest heart throb Brad Pitt types though. I have yet to see many that can actually act. Most seem to only be able to play the same freaked out, or brooding character no matter what role situation they are in.
