Strange how there taking so little off his price. Usually they take 10-25 percent off. 5 is the lowest I've ever seen them go!

Thanks GreenAiden555, That gave me the urge to sign up and thus The Azure Rathalos will be my first order from AmiAmi :).

EDIT:
Just noticed something about the Revoltch Rathalos, it could just be the eyes playing tricks but for some reason to me it seems to be a hybrid of two generations with the MH3 ~ MH3G Body and paint scheme while it has almost the same wing size as the MH1~MHFU incarnation as look slightly smaller than that see on the Tri design.

What do you think?

Welcome to a month or two ago.

HLJ probably found a random box like they did with the FiguArts Piccolo.

It's a good thing I could care less about the Gamera figures and Revoltech in general or else I would be freaking out right now. I only have Anguirus, Mothra, Gigan, Rodan, and the Type 66 Maser, and I am happy with that.

The only lines I'm collecting right now are S.H. MonsterArts and X-Plus figures (whatever I like from either the 30cm or Toho Large Monsters series). I used to like Revoltech, but they've been making very poor decisions with their figures lately that I am completely turned off from them - I mean, how many Iron Mans have they produced? Good God!

I'll give them praise for Rathalos though, because it is a really nice looking figure. But since I don't play Monster Hunter, there will be no point for me to buy it.

I lie Revoltech figures. There's no doubt that the finished product looks good. However, holding one in hand feels... Different. I admit, I'm VERY afraid of a horn or the like breaking, and those ratchet joints scare me when I have to pull something out or put something on.

Their Anguirus figure is AMAZING. I have no need to buy another Showa Anguirus, even if one is in the SHMA line, unless if just looks too damn good or comes with some sweet perks.

I want to buy the Showa Gamera Revoltehs, and if some payments go through as planned, I just may.

For me, Revoltech figures aren't as durable as they look. While the kaiju figures are great, it's there mecha - primarily the Evangelion figures - that seem to break easily. Snapped the horn of a Unit One figure, and chipped the blood spatter accessory of the Unit Two THE BEAST, and etc. I also have a Gurren & Lagann figure and I broke the mini Lagann's legs by accident while trying to replace a part on it for another. So now I only have Gurren.

OOOHHH yeah, they are fragile. I've heard Gyaos can snap under its own weight while on the stand that came with it. FORTUNATELY, mine are fine, but my girlfriend and I have a little bet going as to what figure will break first.

Haha that's funny.

But yeah, after being spoiled by better sculpted, articulated and detailed figures like the SH MonsterArts or Ultra-Act figures, Revoltechs for me became quite obsolete and their flaws became a lot more visible, such as the highly noticeable joints, the fragility of the figures, and so on, and so on. At this time now, I prefer to keep my Revoltechs in their boxes so nothing else happens to them.

I have no doubt of Kaiyodo's ability to produce impressive monsters - Ratholos is the latest proof of that! But the Sci-Fi Revoltech line continues to dishonor itself, with superheroes & the like. The last Sci-Fi Revoltech I purchased was the 'Gohtengo', & nothing since then has stirred me.

I caved and bought the 96 Gamera to go with Legion. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. I keep them at work.

Good on ya! I kinda want 'em.

One thing I love about Revoltech is that, if the joints break, you can buy news ones... Even if you wanna make a custom figure, you can buy them and use them, too!

Wait, do you mean buy more figures, or actually buy extra revo' joints?

Not the correct thread, but I already posted before verifying this:

The SHMA Poll on Facebook has been hacked/hijacked! 'Shadow of the Colossus' has come from out of nowhere & garnered a whopping 160 votes! What a pile of manure! There is no way this is legitimate! 'Colossus' needs to be removed and/or disregarded!
