Spell Check Annoyance

Postby James23873 » Mon May 21, 2012 9:58 pm

This is just a minor annoyance, and no big deal if it can't be fixed. I was wondering if there was a way to modify the forums spell check, so that the monsters names won't be underlined as being wrong. Kind of always annoyed me when typing a post and seeing Rodan or Gorosaurus with the red underline.
You know, Darth Vader cannot be Luke Skywalker's father. They don't have the same last name.

That's your browser, not the forums. ;)

Oh man, that's embarrassing. Had no idea it was the browser, though it makes sense when I now think about it. Well at least I learned something new. Guess this topic serves no purpose anymore.

There's likely a setting for you to add words to the dictionary if you'd like to keep it on.

I don't know about you guys, but Microsoft Word, never, ever underlined Godzilla for me.

I use Microsoft word. Godzilla doesn't get underlined, but plenty of other kaiju names and related terms have gotten red-lined.

Fortunately, I can just add them to the dictionary. Problem solved.

Thanks. I looked it up and found it.

And yeah, Godzilla was never underlined for me either. Partly why I assumed it was the forum itself.

Godzilla being in the dictionary is no surprise, considering his popularity. Mothra also isn't underlined for me, but Rodan, Anguirus and others are.

Anyways, since this problem is solved, I'll just be locking this now.
