It's the Black/Blue release Legion already posted pics of. Definitely my favorite Gigan color scheme out of any stylized figure.

Stylized my ass CD. That Gigan resembles the character more than the 6 inch Bandai could ever hope to.

Shhhhh....! You'll make the Big B angry!

But I was primarily basing the 'stylized' classification on the non-standard color scheme. I do agree that it's a phenomenally accurate sculpt.

I dunno, the Theatre Exclusives and CCP's Artistic Monster Collections do have zany color schemes but I'm not sure if most of them are stylized.

But yeah, the GB Gigan looks awesome.

Let's just agree that the paint jobs are stylized. I've just always sort-of lumped any toy that isn't making an attempt at accuracy in a separate group from the figures that do. Not a big deal either way.

Yeah you're right. The sculptures is realistic yet the paint makes it stylized.

Why, is there a law saying you can't own both?

I love your photo Jomei...Such a happy family :D I really wish the majority of my collection wasn't back in the states, as I would love to take a group photo of my GB collection (I have all the figures except for Hedorah...and I am sure I will cave in and get that someday as well).

By the way, hope you don't get pissed Legion, but I am posting the very cool photo you took of your GB figures together which you posted awhile ago on the CT forums...I love this photo! :)

Oh yeah, I don't have Zone Fighter either...no real desire to be honest (not a big fan of the character at all...but if I run across him in Tokyo/Akiba and the price is right, I will likely snatch him up for completionist's sake...)

I envy you, ebirahsmeg. I've been to Akiba and Denden Town a few times, but at the time I didn't even know what I was looking at! Next time I make it over I'm going to need a spare suitcase to carry all my loot!

I think Gigan is my next most wanted from this line. MosuGoji and Jet Jaguar come in next. Wouldn't mind Hedorah, either.

Hmm... since we got Ghidorah, do you think another sculpt might be in the near future? Aside from the anomalous Monster X, this line seems to focus on classic Showa designs. Might Megalon or Titanosaurus be on the horizon? Maybe a Rodan? Perhaps Anguirus? All of these possibilities sound tantalizing to me. :dizzy:

I think he would love to have both- but unavailability and price are pretty big factors too.

You would think at least one of these (or for that matter, any GB save for Monster X) would turn up on ebay by now...

There was a flourescent green Hedorah on eBay for a while. Other than that bupkiss. Clawmark also has some GBs for far more than I'd pay for them.

I would love to have both but I have no idea where to find one. :(

Sadly, no. :( Gigabrain likes to take their sweet time. After several releases in 2007, Gigabrain didn't release anything for nearly *3* years until 2010 when they unveiled Hedorah. From there, we had to wait until this past April 2012 for King Ghidorah. On the bright side, as least with Gigabrain, the long waits between figures are usually worth it as they rarely disappoint.

As to which figure we would get next....well, as mention earlier in this thread by Legion, GB tends to release figures not covered by Marmit (hence the long standing rumor that GB is really a Marmit subsidary...this hasn't been confirmed nor denied). Most likely a showa character not yet covered by the Marmit MH line...but then again, GB can be a little unpredictable (see Monster X). I honestly hope their next figure is *NOT* the ones you mentioned, despite how awesome they would be. Marmit's MH Megalon is fantastic, and Xplus and other companies have made terrific Megalon figures...he's far from a rare kaiju when it comes to figures, so I'm not itching to see another one (what would be the point?). The Marmit MH Titanosaurus is damn near perfect and would be hard to top...same goes for the smaller Bandai figure. The MH Angilas was amazing, and the same goes for Marmit kit and Xplus Angilas. Now, Rodan would be very intriguing if they did the 64 version of him (to my knowledge, only Pilot Ace has done a real figure of the 64 Rodan, and it's harder than hell to find). Hell, I wouldn't mind even seeing a Rodan 65/68 figure from GB, as I think the 30cm Xplus figure is extremely lackluster and perhaps one of the most overrated Xplus figures. As others mentioned earlier, I wouldn't mind seeing a GB Space Godzilla, as Marmit really dropped the ball with their horrible SG figure.

GB, give us GABARA already damn it!!!!

As I've said before, a quadropedal Anguirus would be awesome. That and a Titanosaurus would finally get me interested in this line.

i'm thinking they'll do a rodan 64 or 68. gabara is a possibility, esp since monster x came out from no where. Or I wouldn't mind another Godzilla (mosu-goji 2 please!)

I can't get enough of their KG though. I've ordered the glow and black to go with the gold.

King Caesar? He'd hardly got any good figures. The Parababy's quite nice but I'm not a fan of the MMH.
