Aliens vs Skull Island

The Premise: An Xenomorph Queen has overwhelmed the native village of Skull Island, her face hugger children creating an army of Xenomorphs out of the villager's bodies. However, once the vile critters have passed the wall they find themselves facing an island of monsters. The Skull Island residents have banded together in order to drive out the extraterrestrial invaders. Can the primeval creatures, led by the mighty King Kong himself, drive out the Xenomorph army? Or will the aliens conquer the whole island for themselves?

Verdict: Well, it's really tough for me to decide on this one. I'm... gonna give it to the skull islanders. They have a huge advantage in numbers and variety.

I think the Xenomorphs would eventually win. I mean, acid blood, acid spray and their tail blades? The acid blood is main reason I think the Xenos would win.

Skull Island all the way. Acid Blood would only drop a T. Rex if he slaughtered about a hundred or so all at once, combined with numerous other dinosaurs would wipe them clean out, and nothing would do anything to Kong. Kong would only be hurting if he took on the queen, which I think he would easily dispatch. I think T. Rex vs. Queen would be a lot cooler, as the fight would last longer and the queen might actually win.

No he wouldn't. Xenomorphs have an absolutely stupid resistance to blunt force trauma. And last time I check, that is all Kong really has. The Queen is also a lot smarter and deadlier than anything on Skull Island.

and the aliens would eventually win. the skull island dudes would figure out very quickly that acid blood does not work out too well on flesh, and considering the only way they would be able to kill an alien would be to cause it to bleed, they would have to either give up or go down taking a bunch with them.

not to mention that aliens are very resistant to melee attacks and there are ususally thousands of them at a time.

meh, she took on ripley in a power loader. she got smashed upside the head several times by heavy machinery. and alien resurrection was kinda weird anyway.

Xeno durability is hilariously overrated. And acid blood only comes into effect when a xeno is injured. So basically, against similarly-sized things like the Venatosaurs and some of the larger bugs, the result would just be mutually-assured destruction. Throw in stuff like Kong, the V-rexes, and the Brontosauruses which could take down multiple xenos before succumbing to the acid, and things don't look good for the xenos. Further add to that the fact that there'd only be, what, like 100-200 or so xenos. Yeah, Skull Island isn't losing this.

Well, even when you consider the Queen from Aliens, she has the power loader fall around 15ish or more feet down onto her and she suffered no injuries. It's no truck, but that thing probably weighed at least 1 ton and it falling from that distance should have killed or at least severely injured almost anything else that size.

And the one thing that has stayed consistent with Xenomorphs is their resistance to blunt force trauma. Just go watch AvP to see proof of that, or Aliens when they ram a solid steel door hard enough to make it bulge outward (which would require them to have resistance to keep ramming it and not injure themselves). The various dinosaurs can harm them, but only at the cost of the weapons/limbs/mouths that did it. Kong vs Queen though is definitely in the Queen's favor.

In Aliens? I would have to rewatch it to be honest. Not like that is a problem, because it is a fantastic movie after all.

Yeah. The Queen tried several times to stab Ripley with her tail tip and then they turned and the next time you see it clearly the stinger is missing. It's like there's something missing...

I see this being a close fight. The Xenos have the advantage in acid blood, but Skull Island has the advantage in sheer numbers. It'd be a close fight, but Skull Island just might pull a win, though it won't be easy.

Unless they have God-like durability, getting smashed by a fraggin' brontosaurus is going to kill them. Permanently. Acid won't begin to tear them up until the xenos have been worn down so much that several layers have accumulated on the dinos hides, and by then any reinforcements will mop what's left.

It's also not just a durability thing with Kong and the Queen: It's not inconceivable that he could pick her up and fling her across the island, or stab her with a tree-spear thing, or even just drop her into a chasm, I'd like to see her survive that!

Lastly, do the Skull Islanders have any kind of unity? Like, would bats swoop down and pick Xenos off a T. Rex? If they do, there's no hope for the Xenos, they're in Dante's Hell.
