Won't having a Budokai HD collection make more sense since this year is the 10th anniversary of Budokai 1? I guess the collection could be Sparking Neo, Sparking Meteor, and Tag Team. Seeing how PSP games have been ported over to the HD collections before just like what happen with God of War.

Rumors are going from a Budokai HD collection to a Tenkaichi HD collection but the one thing I hope for is the Budokai 3/Tenkaichi 3 combo rumor that is going around.

It's just Budokai 1 and Budokai 3. They are most likely doing this since it's the 10th anniversary of the first game and the first game being a huge hit is the reason why Bandai keep on making more DB games.

Well Budokai 1 and 3 is still the best DBZ namco has put out in the last couple of years I hope they do a tenkaichi collection or a tenkaichi 4 next year.

I mean, I know both games have their issues, but they're much better than Ultimate Tenkaichi.

Also, some people are complaining about the lack of Budokai 2. I cannot fathom why. It's the black sheep of the Budokai family.

All the crazy fusion characters for one were fun to play. Tiencha,Gokule to name only 2.

I think most DB fans are so used to the Sparking games now and they rather play those instead. I think Budokai 2 was left out because most fans didn't like it as much as the first game. I think Bandai feel like that Budokai 1 and 3 where more popular. The first game had a great story mode but the gameplay needed some improvement and the gamecube version did help the graphics look much better. Budokai 3 to me is the still best DBZ game in my opinion. I know people who are not even fans of the series that enjoy Budokai 3.

Budokai 2 is, honestly, my least favorite DBZ game. I've not played that many, admittedly, but I prefer the first and third Budokai games, at the very least. I realize the first had some issues, but the second is the most unbalanced fighter I've played.

Edit- Oh, yeah, the Super Boo absorptions. Part of the balancing issues, right there.

I kinda hope they'll add in all the extra skins from the special editions of Budokai 3. I want to play as King Piccolo.

It's possible that they will add the outfits that where the Japanese version of Budokai 3. It's too bad that Budokai 3 won't have the same soundtrack that it originally had.

People need to stop teasing with the Budokai Tenkaichi 3 HD. I don't want to get anyone's hopes up but if the box art is true could the Tokyo game show be a possible place to revel this?

Alright everyone here's the deal:

Budokai HD Collection:
-Improved HD Graphics
-Two games in one disc
-Supports Achievements/Trophies
-Online Character Profile Sharing: Meaning you can send downloadable customizable character skill profiles to others online for them to have and use.

What it does not have:
-Online Play
-The iconic music from the PS2 counterparts has been replaced by Tenkaichi music, and some from Ultimate Tenkaichi.
-No Rock the Dragon Theme

The game is currently out and released within Europe (November 2nd), the game will be released November 6th within the U.S. (This Tuesday).

I can help but wonder, whose interested in getting this collection? I'll be honest and say that I am interested, but I'm not really there, I'm not really sold. I want the collection because, well, I no longer have Budokai 1 or 3. Diving back into the past within the present while enjoying some delightful DBZ nostalgia is always a welcomed thing. But I'm just not there yet for some reason.

Its not because there's no online or anything like that, I'm actually fine with the content at hand and what the collection offers. After all I still love playing fighting games locally with friends or by myself. But I just don't know why I'm not reeling in the catch.

Maybe its because there are other interesting games currently released or soon to be release that still hold possession over my wallet. Or maybe its just one of those games that I can hold off on until a price drop. Not completely sure. But none the less I'm still interested in obtaining it, I might try to get it for X-Mas this year as a gift from a friend or something like that.

The digital releases like 3rd Strike and Jojo's Bizzare Adventure and the Marvel vs. Capcom Origins games have had online added plus a bunch of other stuff. Though the enhanced the graphics on these games, I am not sure they would be considered HD.
