I would like to see one of the monsters from War of the Monsters in the game as well.

^ They would have to be shrunk down though, which instantly makes them less interesting. Reminds me of the whole -"Ridley needs to be playable on the next Smash!"-debate.

It could still work. In the story mode they could say all the monsters were shrunk by some kind of energy that the player needs to destroy.

Or they could do at least a stage theme of War of the Monsters which can have one of the monsters grab you as you are fighting.

I'd like to see some underwater stages in this game. SSBB didn't do that, and I would like to be able to go around fighting while avoiding sharks and squid. If they do make underwater stages, I wonder if they make the characters have to go up every once in a while to breath.

Excuse me? If the likes of Sly Cooper and Sweet Tooth are "pretty dumb," then the likes of Mario and Kirby sure as hell aren't any better.

Quit being a Nintendo fanboy/Sony hater.

Didn't even see this.

Not hating on Sony, I am just saying I don't care for their characters as much as Nintendo.

Nintendo has characters that are MUCH more recognizable over Sony's. Honestly, if you asked someone on the street if they heard of Sly Cooper over Mario, how many Yes's do you think you'll get?

The problem with that arguement is that nintendo whores Mario out. Theres like 5 games a year at least that come out with Mario in the title.
Apparently SWTOR said that I can invite 25 people for a 7 day trial of the game. PM me if interested.

The thing about a lot of Nintendo's characters is that some of them have been around for much longer than any Sony's franchise characters. I'd also guess that some of them are more recognizable to people who aren't gamers. A lot of people will know who Mario, Luigi, Zelda, Link (though some people Link is Zelda) and Donkey Kong are, while characters like Sly, Sweet Tooth and Jak and Daxter will likely get you blank stares.

I do think that Spryo, Tomb Raider (Lara), and Crash Bandicoot are all pretty recognizable names to people in their 20's or 30's. These characters were all over the place in the 90's, and were anything but "obscure".

To think that this could have been the new Super Smash Bros if Sony and Nintendo had created the Nintendo Playstation back in the 90's.

This is the 3rd Smash Bros clone that Snake has been in. I wonder how many 3rd party support that this game is going to have?

Dream Mix TV World Fighters. It wasn't released in the U.S.

The other is obviously Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Dream Mix TV World Fighters was fun because it was so random since it's the only game where you can have Solid Snake fight Optimus Prime. I wonder what version of Snake will they use for this game?
