Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (Sin City 2)

A teaser poster for the upcoming Sin City sequel has been released. Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez will returning as the directors, the movie is hope to be released by 2013 or 2014.

It been a while since I seen the first film and I would have to re-watch it again. I remember liking it but also finding it to be bit overrated since most people where calling it "The Blade Runner of this generation!". I remember they have been working on a sequel since 2006 and it looks like it has finally happen like six or seven years later.

Really enjoyed the first movie.
I just hope Franky is not going to do some crazy bullshit with this sequel.

having not seen the first one nor read the comics, I don't intend to see this.

I don't like Miller's work personally. I loved the movie of 300, but The Dark Knight Returns gets really weird in places, and I can't forget the abysmal darkness known as "All-star Batman and Robin."

Goddamn, just...Goddamn...
Before it can be filmed, drawn, acted or programed, it must be written.

Well it can't be as bad as the Spirit, right?

Can we get a link or something, some real confirmation?

Also, I hope they're not JUST using the "A Dame to Kill For" story. I mean, it's a great one, but I would have liked it to be another anthology film.

I agree with this. A Dame to Kill For also IMHO is the lowest story of the entire series.

The Spirit is right up there with Catwoman, Mystery Men & Ultra Violet.

I also remember reading that they even plan for a 3rd film which could be shoot back to back just like Matrix 2 & 3 was.

This movie wont do as well as the first. The main reason is A Dame To Kill For is the Dwight origin story published before his bit in the first movie.

I wonder who will play Dwight. Because he had a massive face change between stories..
