Heisei Titans: Spacegodzilla Vs. Destoroyah

This match is between Spacegodzilla and Destoroyah: two of Godzilla's greatest enemies in the Heisei Series. I know that this match has been done many times before, but I want to see what people think the outcome would be now. The rules of this match are the following: Spacegodzilla is fighting defensively with his crystal fortress, Destoroyah is on the offense and able to separate into other forms, no interference, no mercy, and no surrender. The arena is Fukuoka, Japan. Here are the stats:

I can see Spacegodzilla winning this match, but it won't be easy whatsoever. In long range, the corona beam will get some nice hits on Destoroyah, and his oxygen destroyer beam will have no affect on Spacegodzilla with his shield. The true debate regarding this match, however, is up close. Can Spacegodzilla manage to keep Destoroyah away from his tower and eliminate the aggregates? Judging from his fight up close against Godzilla and Moguera, Spacegodzilla could probably be able to match Destoroyah in close combat in some aspects. On his defense, Destoroyah boasts the horn katana and his tail, which he could use to both electrocute and drag Spacegodzilla out of his fortress. In the end, it really depends on Destoroyah's ability to conquer Spacegodzilla's crystal fortress. On a side note, Spacegodzilla would win for sure in a dogfight.

Destoroyah: 4.5/10

This FM was done to death. But I see Destroyah winning. He's just too tough to Spacegodzilla, he could take Burning Godzilla Uber beams, and Gwangi help Spacegodzilla if Destroyah used his Horn Katana on him, since he could easily slice off a shoulder crystal. Spacegodzilla won't go down easily, but he'll lose.

Destoroyah is too tanky and physically powerful for Spacegodzilla. Up close Spacegodzilla would get slaughtered. From far away Spacegodzilla has the edge.

...Des isn't any more tanky or physically powerful than SG. The ONLY advantage he has up close is the Laser Horn, which he's too stupid to use often or effectively.

This. People say Destoroyah is one of the most intelligent kaiju because of him killing Godzilla Jr. for "revenge", yet he couldn't even use the Laser horn properly.

He certainly is more tanky. He took several shots from the uber Spiral Ray, including direct hits to the chest, and was still very much alive. SG took three shots from the regular spiral ray and blew up.

I'm not going to debate about this match though, as the conditions don't change the result of that match compared to the last thread.

To be fair though, the dying Godzilla was a lot stronger than the normal Godzilla. That, and the laser horn did more damage than anything Spacegodzilla ever did to him.

1. Spacegodzilla was going to blow up no matter what at that point. Godzilla literally could have just stood there and stared, and SG would have still blown up.
2. From what we can see, the Spiral beams really didn't do any outward damage to SG either.

This has got to be the most epic FM in history. I'm not just talking Godzilla, but from everyland in the kingdom of Nerdom. This is boss, and there needs to be more documentation on it. (Tell Miles or whoever does the toons we need sometime on this NOW)

Okay, I'll throw in that Spacegodzilla would win. He's got far more range, which would wear Destoyer down long before he can get in close. He will get in close though, and tear Spacegodzilla up, but SG can finish him with his own close-range attacks, (tail, bite, get a couple of whimpy punches in) and have him on the ground before his own heart gives out.

The city around them will be garbage before they're done, though.

Spacegodzilla beating Destoroyah close up? Yeah, okay. Spacegodzilla is gonna get tossed around like Godzilla did. The laser horn (if used) will most likley cripple Spacegodzilla. I don't find it far fetched for Destoroyah to sense the energy being emitted from the tower like Godzilla did. If this is true, or by dumb luck, Destoroyah will down the tower, crippiling Spacegodzilla.

I don't think it is right to forget about Godzilla's first encounter with Spacegodzilla. In that fight, Spacegodzilla didn't even have a fortress and he knocked him right down to the ground to submission. SG fights like Godzilla up close, but he has some energy to boost the impact.
