^Actually, I would like to see how their sales stack up against other IDW comics as those are the only one's that really matter.

There seems to be a lot of negativity here towards IDW thanks to KOM, which I admit was bad, but who here still thinks that IDW has done some really awesome stuff? Gansters and Goliths was awesome and I can't wait to get my hands on the TPB of G:Legends. I think IDW has been a great addition to this franchise.

What about the trade for Legends? I looked around and couldn't find anything more specific than "May."

Yeah there's good and bad in everything.

I don't get people who write them off for ONE bad comic.

Because those two comics had *NO* connection whatsoever to KOM...in contrast, this upcoming new title is continuation/sequel to KOM. Regardless if it's new staff/new writers/new artists/different direction/"we will barely mention the events of KOM!"/etc., it still has that connection, and that gives one pause. After KOM (which was one of the *worst* comics I have *ever* read in general, not just the worst "G" comic), I think it's more than understandable than many fans (myself included) to be *just a tad bit* skeptical about this upcoming title and are taking a "wait and see" approach before getting all giddy...

I'm still not quite seeing how being in the same universe means it'll be the same quality.

^I'm saying this in the nicest way I can here, and I may be wrong, but it seems like you don't read many comics.

I mean, do you know how many bad Superman, Batman, Spider-Man, Captain America, Avengers, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Flash, Daredevil, Green Lantern, X-Men, X-Force, X-Factor, Sin City, Cerberus, Strangers in Paradise, Stray Bullets, Robin, Teen Titans, New Mutants, Guardians of the Galaxy, Scarlet Spider, Az-Bats, Eradicator, Steel, Superboy, Shadowhawk, Youngblood, Cable, Bloodstrike, Nightwing, Batgirl, Justice League International, Justice League Europe, Extreme Justice, Sleepwalker, Ghost Rider, Punisher, Wildcats, etc, (and forevermore) issues/storylines/entire series there have been?

If everyone had fear and trepidation about the series and properties they're fans of then I can't see how this market could last as long as it has. Continuity is a touchstone and trademark of newsstand panel-to-panel "comics". Always has been. See DC's current issues to see what throwing continuity to the wind can do to a comic that is supposed to think in the long-term.

It would be like asking Marmit to not make their figures stylized or SHMA to not make their figures articulated. A long, continuous story in the Godzilla universe is one of the best, most unique things a Godzilla comic can offer us.

Took the words right out of my mouth. Just because it's in the universe doesn't mean everything will be referenced. Some things may just be mentioned in passing. Nothing to get upset over.
I was mentioned in the SciFi Japan article about the appearence of extras on the Godzilla vs. Megalon DVD.

And they should fix the image as well. Seeing on how there's an official cover for Legends by Matt and all that.

Dude, you shouldn't judge a comic because it's of the same continuity. There can be changes. Like I remember you mentioning about your *real* King Ghidorah (AKA, the Showa one, people) over at IDW forums. Though he may or may not change in the sense of origin, he can change his ways. So in time, the ongoing might have a threat to humanity (or even the earth) rather than a savior. Besides, snakes died before the monk decided to possess him. If things die when Mothra appears, that's going to be a whole different story, lol. Seriously, though, don't pack up your money yet. Hopefully your opinion will change with Ghidorah, but I dunno.

Art Adams original artwork for his issue #1 cover just sold on Ebay for over $3000 (and the bidding started at $100)

Also, as you can tell from the photo from this auction, Mothra is also present as well:

That's pretty badass (which is stating the obvious, because... you know, Art Adams). A bit strange that Mothra is only in this image, though.
