No, but there was movie cartoon that had the same ponies and was a little girly but then I was five (when it happened) so it seems ponies are like a lot of movies and toons, like Godzilla.

Two entirely different things. For starters, the series being discussed here has never had a movie (and it started in 2010). You're probably thinking of one of the older, significantly stupider series.

Come on. I've seen fans of the current show justifing themselves to neigh-sayers by pointing to the previous series negatively. There is no need for that, as there have always been fans of MLP, male and female, as Fairy Mothra can testify.

The original movie is actually quite badass, for what I saw.

Well, my views there could also be biased, as from what I saw of the earlier MLP it always seemed disgustingly directed to pandering towards girls. Which of course is justified in that the cartoons exist to sell toys, but cartoons created to sell toys can easily fly off of the deep end of stupid. Fortunately we haven't gotten there and (The Alicorns willing) we won't.

I know you think we're all gay for watching this show, but that's not true. Gays are minority in the world and only a small percent of bronies (fans of MLP: FiM) are gay. anyway, Welcome to this thread!

Kiryu, spike has no chance. Even in supersized form, spike doesn't seem to have fire breath (which was rather odd), and Godzilla does, so I'd have to say that Godzilla would win.

Spike has been able to breath fire aside from sending notes, and he did say once that he was fireproof. So while he wouldn't be able to take out Godzilla, he should be able to handle his Atomic Ray at least for awhile.

Well, I don't think Godzilla's ray is JUST fire. Nor do I think Spike's fire can send Godzilla away. Not big enough.
