Now, here are my top 3 favorite things about Unleashed (in no order)

1. story mode, I guess it could have been a bit better, but it looks like they are improving it after every godzilla game, so it was better than save the earth and melee.

2. monster roster, I like how you update the roster every game, like you dont leave anybody in the old game, out in the new game, unlike dragon ball z, ect

3. vs. mode points, you can get store points in vs.! yay!

I say go for it. Like it has been said, Atari seemed to be the set-back of the official Godzilla games, not Pipeworks.

I would love for a trailer to feature Godzilla defeating Krystalak and Obsidous and then it shows Glacies on the screen fighting Godzilla and then at the end it says their may be a new King in town.

Long story short add another vote to Glacies.

Contributors are deciding, by simple majority, what major features (monsters) get added.

What if contributors want an inappropriate monster. Almost all of them say yes, would you allow him to be in. Eg: D*ckorah, a 100 meter tall armless creature with two spheres for feet and has an eye that shoots a white-hot heat beam. And all contributors want his inclusion

That's why original monsters must be vetted by myself and Matt Frank, before they are built.

Oh wow, I dunno why this didn't cross my mind sooner, but if the game ends up only using original monsters, then it's a good thing Matt Frank is attached to the project, lol. Should be no shortage of interesting monsters coming from him.

I wish that I had stumbled upon this sooner... I just dropped about two grand on new camera equipment, and I would gladly have waited on my purchase if it meant being able to give you guys a more substantial investment. As it stands, though, I can build up another $500 in free cash before the end of June and still have plenty left over for all of my necessities. I can probably round up a few more people to donate, too.

I'm very curious to see how this rolls out, and I promise you that you will have my fullest support. Just don't be in too much of a rush... time was your biggest enemy during Unleashed's development, IIRC.

Godspeed, good man. Godspeed.

Jeez, where to start... finished high school, quit my gig with the local news and became a radio DJ for a couple years, did some collegey stuff, finished doing collegey stuff, lived out of my car, became a retail wage-slave, started overseeing retail wage-slaves, supplemented my income with voice acting and comedy, and got wrapped up with a bunch of budding game designers. All in the span of about six years. If it helps you can imagine me walking out of the woods with a long beard and a bewildered expression on my face, because that's not too far off.

I think that the concept that is brought up here is quite interesting. The ability to have not only Toho kaiju in the game seems like a very cool idea and so does the updating. The only issue I see is whether or not companies like Toho would be willing to allow their trademark characters into another game without bargaining for crazy prices. I can't donate, but I do believe that there could be something special here. As long as we get crisper graphics, better destruction effects, and balance among monsters in the roster, then I guess that this will be a great thing.

To get back on that walking issue, I uploaded videos of the two walks I talked about:

The bad walk : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=en ... AmlHw&NR=1

Hahah!! Yeah, the uncharged Godzilla looks horrible! Whoever did that never watched Godzilla. Oh, I just watched a video of him walking and blasting and his elbows are all out, looks goofy. I don't really like the walk/beam anyways, on Baragon in STE it was fine, it made him unique.

Come on...Guys, its a videogame. Nothing is going to be picture perfect, or perfect at all. I'm sure they watched a Godzilla film, but whatever comes from the films dont always transfer well into other formats and programming. Plus it could possibly depend on the model, Godzilla 90's in Unleashed looked like the closest thing that we'll ever get to the Heisei Godzilla in terms of design. A walking animation had to be provided for it, and it probably did not look well since the design did not look like it could lean over slighly, or hunch a bit (That's the heisei design for ya). The result made Godzilla 90's in G:U look more like a guy in a somewhat stiff suit whenever walking. (Which is expected when looking at the suit from that era).

That was probably the trade-off, you can have a more accurate looking Godzilla monster, but it probably won't execute well in certain areas in terms of presentation during gameplay.

The walking and blasting with elbows all out. I actually thought it was pretty cool, it doesn't look goofy to me.

I know the Heisei was a stiff suit but he always held his arms up to his body just like when he is charging energy in Godzilla Unleashed. I just posted the videos because Mr. Strange wanted to see what I was talking about.
