I wish that I had stumbled upon this sooner... I just dropped about two grand on new camera equipment, and I would gladly have waited on my purchase if it meant being able to give you guys a more substantial investment. As it stands, though, I can build up another $500 in free cash before the end of June and still have plenty left over for all of my necessities. I can probably round up a few more people to donate, too.
I'm very curious to see how this rolls out, and I promise you that you will have my fullest support. Just don't be in too much of a rush... time was your biggest enemy during Unleashed's development, IIRC.
Godspeed, good man. Godspeed.

Hahah!! Yeah, the uncharged Godzilla looks horrible! Whoever did that never watched Godzilla. Oh, I just watched a video of him walking and blasting and his elbows are all out, looks goofy. I don't really like the walk/beam anyways, on Baragon in STE it was fine, it made him unique.
I know the Heisei was a stiff suit but he always held his arms up to his body just like when he is charging energy in Godzilla Unleashed. I just posted the videos because Mr. Strange wanted to see what I was talking about.Blackout286 wrote:Zentenk wrote:Godzillakuj94 wrote:To get back on that walking issue, I uploaded videos of the two walks I talked about:

Come on...Guys, its a videogame. Nothing is going to be picture perfect, or perfect at all. I'm sure they watched a Godzilla film, but whatever comes from the films dont always transfer well into other formats and programming. Plus it could possibly depend on the model, Godzilla 90's in Unleashed looked like the closest thing that we'll ever get to the Heisei Godzilla in terms of design. A walking animation had to be provided for it, and it probably did not look well since the design did not look like it could lean over slighly, or hunch a bit (That's the heisei design for ya). The result made Godzilla 90's in G:U look more like a guy in a somewhat stiff suit whenever walking. (Which is expected when looking at the suit from that era).
That was probably the trade-off, you can have a more accurate looking Godzilla monster, but it probably won't execute well in certain areas in terms of presentation during gameplay.
The walking and blasting with elbows all out. I actually thought it was pretty cool, it doesn't look goofy to me.
