Just give me Spyro and Crash in their classic look and I'll be good.

Don't hold your breath for either. They aren't owned by Sony.

Like most people, this game doesn't appeal to me simply because I couldn't give two shits about any of these characters. I grew up with Nintendo, and SEGA characters. Hell, I only even bought a Playstation to play FFVII, Metal Gear Solid, and the Resident Evil titles. I could live without the other stuff (except maybe Shadow of the Colossus..)

Sony is mad late on the whole "Let's rip off Smash Bros!, That's a good idea!" much like they were with the Playstation Move add on, and Microsoft with the Kinect. Both companies took years to rip off the Wii, and by the time their products dropped, nobody gave a shit.

I think this game was plan to be a Smash Bros rip off from the start. I want to play this since it does look fun and I do hope we will see some classic Sony characters since I grew up with the PS1/PSX in the late 90's.

Yeah, but like who? Most of those characters aren't owned by Sony. Spyro, Crash, Lara Croft, Cloud Strife...characters that ruled 90's era Playstation games, are not owned by Sony. You'll just have to cross your fingers, and hope for some "guest" characters, ala Sonic and Snake in SSMB.

Give me Cole from inFamous and Shepard from Mass Effect and I may consider getting this. Or is technically Shepard owned by Microsoft?

So? They said they'll be adding third party characters to the game and those two are not only that BUT both were driving forces that made the original playstation a big success. If this is suppose to be a celebration of the Playstation's rich life from one to three and you don't include those two who helped so much, that's pretty dumb.

Well, if they're not included, you're welcome to send Sony of America a letter proclaiming that they're "pretty dumb". I'm sure it'll solve everything.

I will then. Heh

But really it would be pretty stupid not to include two characters that helped the console so much and are on the top ten best seller list for the playstation, at least from what I remember. I mean imagine if Capcom made a fighting game crossover and they didn't include mega ma- oh wait.

I forgot about those guys! I'm sure at least some of them will end up in the final game.

They said that 3rd party is possible, so both Spyro and Crash are possible. I still doubt the list on IMDB is legit since anyone on IMDB can edit it. IMDB is just a wiki, except you have to pay to be able to edit it.

They didn't say 3rd party was possible they said 3rd party was going to be a big part of the roster on GTTV.

I also don't see how this game being a Smash Bros clone is a bad thing. As long if the game is fun and not broken then I will play it.

They took a game that was REALLY fun and was filled with characters that people love... And made the exact same game with characters that aren't loved as much.

They should of done there own thing with it, instead of copying and pasting Smash Bros but with pretty dumb characters.

Excuse me? If the likes of Sly Cooper and Sweet Tooth are "pretty dumb," then the likes of Mario and Kirby sure as hell aren't any better.

Quit being a Nintendo fanboy/Sony hater.

Is it possible that this game could bare any characters from War of the Monsters? Hell, even a level from that game would be awesome.

I would find it hilarious if for whatever reason Optimus prime made an appearance.

Yeah, it's extremely unlikely but could you imagine?

A level from WOFM could be great if it isnt in release maybe in DLC.
Unstoppable Fury , Unthinkable Power , Unbreakable Will.
