Tyrannosaurus Rex i believe would take out Gwangi with minimal effort. More mass, bigger, more then likely smarter an a stronger bite clearly gives the Rex major advantages.

I happen to like both predators though.

I eye twitched because I covered two of your three points already in this thread. That's why I asked it you read the previous posts.

Gwani's not bad in a fight, but his bites are not that powerful. They will not do much against a Tyrannosaurus.

He doesn't have huge teeth. But every time he bit, he shredded flesh, especially on the elephant. The Styracosaurus had really tough skin, as evidenced by the fact that the spear that Carlos stabbed it with barely even stuck into it, and even fell out on its own after a couple seconds.

The Styracosaurus' horns were thicker than a Triceratops', especially in comparison to the jaws and teeth of their respective attackers. And the Styraco's nasal horn was still straining under the pressure of his bite.

The T-rex, on the other hand, is very large and heavy, so it won't go down easy.

This is the only one I didn't cover before. Remember, matches are scaled. So the fighters are comparably sized. And Gwangi had no trouble against either of his opponents in the movie, both of which outweighed him and were much more stable than T-rex thanks to them being quadrupedal.

And its bite force should easily rip off chunks of Gwangi's hide.

The Rex won't be able to do squat to Gwangi aside from annoy him. Seriously, think about it: having the equivalent of greater than his own body weight focused onto a single sharp point failed to penetrate his skin. Scaled, a Rex's jaws would be able to exert pressure equal to less than half his body weight. A bite from the Rex would literally do nothing to him.

Gwangi. JP rexes got nothing on the real thing when it comes to bonecrushing bites. Gwangi's a beast. He'll be able to take the rexe's bite and then some.
