Wow. I'm shocked no one made this. So anyone else played this game yet?

I did two nights ago at my friend's and damn Ms.Fortune is my favorite character. Her whole dismemberment powers are a blast to use and make for a rather unique and strangely effective fighting style. And I love her bad puns. What are you sitting here reading my post for? Go out and play it! This game is great old school arcade fighting. It's PAWsativly delightful!

Was wondering if some made a thread for this game.
Was playing the crap out of it last night at a friend's house...don't own it, but I play it whenever I can.
Apparently my top 3 consists of Double, Valetine, and Ms. Fortune.
Speaking of which I was in the process of drawing Ms. Fortune...I was looking up some more photos for references...stupid attention span...

All right, since the Lab has suffered massive lay offs they've started a sort of Kick Starter deal to get one of the DLC fighter, Squigly finished. They need about $175,000 to get her and her story mode and stage finished and she'll be free for the first 3 months she's available. If they get $375,000 we'll have our first rare male fighter Big Band finished as well, $400,000 and we'll get his story and stage done, $600,000 to get a mystery fighter in by fan votes and if they manage to rise $625,000 they can get their stage and story done as well.

I've been meaning to play this, mainly because of how GiganX3 tells me it's super fanservicey and the boobie man above me is pretty much demanding me to play it or suffer some horrible consequences LIKE...

No offense meant to you guys but I'm sick of people getting so stuck on the fan service. Yes it makes a boob joke or two, big deal. I'd say most fighters like MK or SC are actually more guilty of fan service then SK, at least Filla is wearing something I can see a real girl wearing to school as opposed to Ivy's dominatrix outfit. The game actually has more going for it then just that, it's got a decent story and is a pretty good tournament fighter and speaking of the fighters they have more character depths to them then just their looks. And I actually like Ms. Fortune for more then just underboobs, I like her personality, she's a fun loving wise cracking, ass kicking girl who is surprisingly upbeat despite her tragic past or being, by all medical terms, dead. Damn, that's almost inspirational, maybe even good role model material. Plus she's a dark skin zombie catgirl with scars, that's a pretty cool design.

I'm just sick of people acting like it's just a "mud/oil wrestling" game with shitty controls and cheap thrills like Rumble Roses. I guess what I'm saying is there's having plot/game with fan service and then there's just fan service and Skullgirls is the former while games like Rumble Roses is the latter and it does it injustice to compare it to such half ass crap made to cash a quick buck.

I'm just tried of idiots who never played it thinking just all cheese cake with no substance, as opposed to cheese cake WITH substance. Oh speaking of breasts, um these guys did raise a lot of money and then donated it to Breast Cancer Research a few months back. They didn't have to do that. If anything that makes these guys deserving of our help. Any action helps, even something as simple as spreading the word.

Only 24 hours and already they raised enough to get not only Squigly but her story and stage done. Damn, and with 29 days left to spare. We might just get out first male fighter if they can raise enough for Big Band in time.
