One thing that Sci-Fi Revoltech is doing is expanding the Powered Suit into it's own line, with variant suits & accessories. Yipee. :eh:

There may still be some hope for G3 Revoltechs.

Think about it? There was a 1 year gap between the G1 and the G2 Revoltechs. Its wishful thinking but maybe, just maybe something will suface later this year around fall time.

God I hope not. G3 characters should be in the SHM line.

True, they stand a better chance being SHMA figures. Plus they would be even better (wireless tails).

Of course, that would piss off anyone who bought all the Heisei Revoltech Gameras and were hoping for the last few figures to round out the line. Why SHOULD they be in the MA line, RKZ? There are Gamera figures in the Revoltech series, while no Gamera anything is planned for the MonsterArts line. Right now, more Revoltech Gamers make more sense because it's something they've already done. Just because MA is the be-all, end-all toy line for you doesn't necessarily mean everything needs to be a part of it.

And if we're going to play devil's advocate, wire tails at least LOOK better than a tail with 6-8 separate joints that falls apart right out of the box.

SHMA tails Ive never had an issue with, but none the less it would make more sense if Revoltech completed the Gamera Trilogy and at least they would be WAY cheaper. At the end of the day if anyone produces a Highly articulated figure of the G3 Gamera I would be happy anyway :).

The wire tails suck though. They (surprisingly) have less movement than the SHM jointed tails and they tend to pop through the rubber. Anyways, those tails that fall apart straight out of the box can be reconnected. I'm not really sure why people are complaining.

Anyhow, the G3 figures should be part of SHM. "But whyyyyyyy?" Well I'll tell you why. 1. SHM figures are more durable. I've had my figures knocked over on several occasions. The SHM figures just shifted slightly while my old Baragon's ear was destroyed. One of my Super Gyaos's wings broke while I was posing it. And of course, my Mothra's antenna broke straight out of the box. The only incident of breakage I've had with my SHMs was MG's teeth. And that was my own damned fault for shoving the beam in there.

2. The SHMs look better. They hide the joints a lot better than the Revoltechs and don't have large distracting ball joints all over.

3. They're larger and much heavier. People complain about the Monsterarts being more expensive, yet somehow don't notice thst the SHMs are larger (by at least an inch... mostly more) and about 3x the weight.

4. They all scale well. At least with SHM we know that the monsters will be in approximate scale with each other. Gamera will likely be about 6 inches and Irys will be appropriately sized next to him. Legion was a glaring example of just how little Kaiyodo cares about this.

5. SHMs are really not that much more expensive. BBTS had G2 Gamera for about $55. Godzilla was about 10.00 more. Hell Legion cost about the same as Godzilla. You're paying for higher quality, more durable, sturdier plastic. 6. The SCI FI Revoltech line is likely done with kaiju. You yourself practically laugh at anyone who voices their hope otherwise. I'd rather invest in a line that isn't dead and/or useless to me. No matter how much it pisses people off.

If G3 is in the Sci-Fi Revolt line... Welp, buying it.

SHMA line? Buying it.

Considering that the newer Gamera figures have, pretty much, stopped production merely MONTHS out of the gate, Tamashii had that survey listing Gamera, and that Tamashii is going to have a poll for a new monster soon... Things look good for G3/Irys to be in the SHMA line.

My thoughts exactly. Magic Eight Ball says: All signs point to yes.

An SHM Irys would be spectacular. I see a Revoltech one being somewhat limited.

Don't know exactly about that. The joints would look a little too obvious on the tentacles in my opinion. We'll have to see if the joints work well enough on Ghidorah's necks before we consider tentacles. I think that Revoltech would make a nice Irys figure even with wires for the tentacles.

Yeah... Revoltech would make a nice 5 inch tall Irys with barely articulated tentacles and obvious ball joints. I'm sure SHM would do fine with the tentacles. And they'd be able to actually move!

I'm sure the wire-bended tentacles will be able to move better than Tamashii's jointed ones, AND look better. We are not dealing with fat bulky tails anymore, but thin tantacles. Wires will work perfectly, for obvious reasons. Its not like SHM Goji's tail has some amazing range of motion or something,

And Revoltech has become better at concealing joints. Have you seen their Legion? Or their Showa Gammy stuff? Also, an 8 inch tall Iris would look ridiculous next to the Revoltech Gameras and foes.

Also, articulation.

That's silly. Clearly you haven't seen the giant leap they've taken with the tails from Godzilla to Spacegodzilla. And I'd trust the joints over wire/rubber combination any day. Too bad we most likely won't ever see what the Revoltech Irys would look like. Certainly not as amazing as a Tamashii Irys.

Fingers crossed for a Hyper Gyaos as well.

Rather have G3 in the Revoltech line, than SHMA, 'cuz GGOTU & G2 have been done in the Revoltech line already.

I don't know- you talk like Revoltech doesn't also feature amazing sculpts and paintjobs. I mean, who wasn;t amazed by their Legion or their Anguirus?

And SG's tail does move well- but then it still won't be as moveabel as a wire-bended tendril. Like I said there's a HUGE difference between, say the plump and short-ish tails of Gigan and Baragon- and a slim, very long tentacle. Ad again, it would look alot better. Slim, tentacle like objects look plenty beter without joints- ie; Iris tentacles and Eleking's tail. And with joints they'd flop all over the place once you challenge gravity. I love the Tamashii tail-joint system, but ti just won;t work on Iris.

I'm not saying a MA Iris wouldn't be fanatstic. But its silly to discount the Revoltech as well. And also, we will most likely never see a Tamashii Iris. The line hasn't grown since November- the only addition are 2 Angels, which indicate a future of other Angels, the monster-type Digimons, Bleach Arrancar and other more popular, anime, monsters.
RIP, Old TK.
