Mostly luck. I keep in touch with a certain circle of collectors, and sometimes it pays off. At this point in my life, I am so far from "rich", I'd need the Hubble telescope just to see it. Of course, if I didn't buy kaiju toys...nah. That's crazy talk.

It's these kinds of posts that make me love you CD; again, great figure!

Well, I define a toy by it's "playability factor". Bandai's are obviously toys, for example, but I'm guessing X-Plus figures cannot be considered such.

Alright, just scored me a Bandai Megaguirus movie theater version. This guy was literally selling it for $25 in NEW condition! Only disappointing part is that it might not get here until the end of June/early July according to shipping. But I'm happy I found it.

Megaguirus is a good, detailed figure - I have the GxM Blister pack with Godzilla, Meganulon, Meganuron, Megaguirus, and the Griffon airship. The only problem with the figure is balancing it on its legs to display. Not sure if other people experienced this issue. That's why I just kept Megaguirus, and the other figures inside the blister pack.

Grats. That's the cheapest price I've heard of in a western market. I sold one to a TK member a while back for $45, and that was a good $20-30 cheaper than the cheapest eBay listings.

Alright, it's been a bit, so I figured I'd post some my recent acquisitions. Btw, I think the X-Plus '03 might be my favorite X-Plus figure now. If not, then it's 2nd, only to Biollante. It's a close call.

Man, that Goji 64 looks pathetic in this shot, haha:

X-Plus Belial, with poor lighting but eh:

EDIT -
Gamera Heisei collection (manager to puzzle-piece Iris in there):

But also, I got my Iris in today. All I can say is that this thing is f**ked up. And I mean that in a good way. Detail is awesome, and this thing is so frickin' big, I don't know where I'm going to put it. It's f**ked up. Mainly just because of her tentacles.

Hey! You got that rocket pro 95 eh! With that and you selling that Large Scale 95 to Hesei I may never forgive you...haha.

We have similar taste in Gamera Items, I kept the three x plus 8inchers, but otherwise we have the same figures. I do need to assemble my mini legion soldier, and have always wanted the xplus Gyaos 95, in my opinion the best sculpt that beast has ever gotten.

Congrats on the Iris and G03, I love mine too!

Don't have enough posts to show pics, put my HG Burning Fist Gamera '99 and clear Irys just came from Japan today along with some other assorted HGs. I'm very pleased with the deputy site I used.

If you're asking about the four-legged monster in the corner, that is the Ultraman Powered Kemular.

I bought my very first Memorial Box figure the other day, and believe it or not, my second Rodan! (All I had was a lousy Bandai Creation figure!)

By random Googling, I found a Bandai Gorosaurus going for $90. I managed to negotiate a price of $70. Did I mention it comes with an unattached tag? Yeah, I'm excited.

Bandai SSAF-01 12" Ultraman Tiga. These are swell figures, with a well articulated figure body beneath a rubber suit. I hate visible joints on my figures, so I obviously love this type of approach to posability. Tiga's eyes and warning light are battery opperated, and when you wave his Spark Wand across the chest, the warning light switches to red and blinks until the wand passes again. The toy also came with a miniature Gutswing aircraft.

There are other Ultras in the line, like all three variations of Hayata, and I was tempted to go with him. Still, I've got plenty of those, and Tiga is my favorite "modern" Ultra series, so he won out.
