Creepy indeed. I hate Gyaos. The monsters, not the person. :freak:

But seriously imagine what could be built if we got our hands on Space Titanium Alloy? That shit has to be strong to withstand hits from monsters.

With space titanium, our military could actually stand a chance against monsters. Tanks and planes could take a beam and survive.

Bored in school? Go outside and rearrange the desks into Mothra's symbol. That would be fun  .

I have wonder...what would wars be like? Tricking the enemy into intruding upon a monsters territory, or even pitting two monsters against each other? :freak:

Thanks, my egg hatched! Now help me level my Pokemon up! :)

Why won't this stupid egg hatch already??

You would make a fortune studying monsters since they want to know how to kill, capture or at least repel them, you'd make a fortune building their machines.

Business is a booming in a world of monsters, if you're working in the right field.

There'd probably be a lot of money in construction and demolition, too.

I'm bringing up Gamera again, but I think the Shibuya attack in G3 is a really good representation of what it would be like if giant monsters appeared out of nowhere. Nearly every one of their actions has some sort of horrible consequence for the people below. Like the falling chunks of burning Gyaos meat.

The idea of Monster Island being like a amusement/zoo island would be cool. Like jurassic park minus the break out and human nom snacks.

Welcome to Monster Island!

Whats that goat for? Gorosaurus thats who.

I love it. That's awesome.

I remember an awesome fan fic on the old forums that was basically the journal of a scientist working on Monster Island. He mentions how everyday people pay to take a boat ride around the island (be to dangerous for people to actually be on islands for obvious reasons) and how people get disappointed when Varan doesn't show up cause he rarely pops out of his under water caves. Reminds me of how Jurassic Park they were let down that the one dinosaur that later eats Noman didn't show itself.

Of course he also mentions that back on the mainland theirs a gift shop. So yeah Monster Island becomes a zoo. Considering how contained they were in DAM before the aliens showed up and how the monsters seemed content to live the rest of their days in peace on the islands after King Ghidorah's death it wouldn't be far fetched that they have a boat tour of the island.

If Jurassic Park would have made millions had it not be sabotaged, how much would Monster Island make as a zoo? And they'd save money on feeding some of the monsters since guys like Rodan just use the ocean to feed.

... I wouldn't be letting anyone near the island that didn't already need to be there. Just because it seems like the monsters are content, that doesn't mean their views of humanity has changed.

I mean, let's have a rundown as to how many of Monsterland's in-universe inmates are confirmed man-eaters:
- Rodan
- Varan
- Manda
- Baragon
- Kumonga
- Gorosaurus

That's six man-eaters. Giving tours, boat or otherwise, would be an insurance nightmare.

Outside of the barriers, dude. There's a force filed between the people and the monsters. Rodan couldn't get past it. ;)

It wasn't so much a force-field as much as it was a magnetic field created to skreeonk up his sense of flight direction whenever he got close to it.

God help them when Rodan realizes that all he needs to do is wade out into the ocean past the generators.

Ha, I'm more worried about guys like Kumonga. Somehow he made it to Mt;Fuji. At least Rodan stopped eating people in GTTHM when Mothra convinced him people would leave him alone if he helped her and Godzilla repel King Ghidorah. Kumonga probably only teamed up in hopes of a free meal.

And look where helping humanity got him: dumped on an alien planet against his will, placed under mind control, and is now serving a life-sentence without the possibility of parole on Monster Alcatraz.

No regrets there, I'm sure.

Yeah that was a dick move on the humans part. *insert awesome face here*

But seriously it's better he be on an island where there's plenty of food and allowed to fly somewhat then roam free around the world and risk him attacking again. It's safer for him AND us that way. Besides he returned to the island, he probably just wants to be left alone and lived the rest of his life on the island.

Eh, I wouldn't exactly call some Great Whites and dolphins plenty of food. Especially when they wise up that they're being preyed upon and high-tail it out of there.

Did you see the size of that dolphin? Had to be engineered. And if they can keep monsters on an island whose to say the same can't be said of whales, dolphins and fish?

But I digress. Be funny seeing zoo's having a pissing contest.

San Diego Zoo: "We have the last Pandas."

Monster Island: "We have the only Manda."

San Diego Zoo: "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!"

PETA :P  And besides, that certainly wasn't a dolphin, or a sea-mammal for that matter, tail-fin was wrong.

But yeah, the zoo pissing contests would be funny as hell.
