Why do they need to use higher-quality material to make the Tokyo Vinyl figures?

Bulkier figures. So they wont sag and hold tighter at the joints.
Okay, I understand I guess. It seems a little useless to me though.

I'm pretty sure these are on here elsewhere, but does anyone think these 2 (Or four?) figures see the light of day?Image

HA, I wish... That prototype of KG is nice looking, though. Wish they went with that instead.

BC really should release MKG & Anguirus; they look a lot better than MG, Sokogecki-Goji and SpaceG do.

That Anguirus is far superior to the current mold. I think it would be the Angy to have for a while.

That MKG looks as good as the Japan one, if not better.
The KG prototype looks much better than the one they did.
Is that the first time Bandai's made a '55 Angy in something larger than Gashapon?

Yeah but they haven't "made" it yet.

I collect VERY few Bandai USA Godzilla figures, but that Mecha-King Ghidorah figure looks pretty good, except for the fact that the wings are a bit too thick.
Anguirus looks NICE (looks better than its Japanese counterparts and the horrid BC Final Wars Anguirus), and I wouldn't mind buying that one... if it ever releases that is.

I inquired via e-mail to BC a few years back about the unreleased figures as well as with some suggestions and such. I was answered by a representative who unfortunately couldn't supply any information besides what was available at the time.

...why? Sculpt-wise, it's definitely below the 6" Japanese version. So why dream for something that's not going to happen when a better version actually exists?
Because the superior version is inconsistently priced and a hair or so more difficult to obtain than an American counterpart would be.

The 6" one's pricing isn't so much too high as much as horribly inconsistent. I see it go for $35 on some websites, and $50 on others, and of course, eBay's all over the place. I know there's a rumor the 6" MKG and Destoroyah were produced in lower quantities, but Destoroyah's common due to re-issues.

If I wasn't in the process of purchasing a MonsterArts Godzilla, I'd possibly just go for that MKG.

lol, the most I paid on a BC was probably sharp at $20 for Anguirus or Rodan 2004 back when they just came out, since this was before the local Toys R Us started carrying the series again.

I meant Bandai Japans' MKG.

I was under the impression Destoroyah had been re-issued again in 2005 or 2006.

He was. In 2005. And so was Mechaghidora.
Why the hell's Des so much cheaper than MKG then?

Actually, both 6" MKG & Destro have been (re)issued 4 times each.

Paying over $20 for a BC figure isn't a dumb thing just because you wouldn't do it.
