Minya and Junior...together?

I've read some debate about which Godzilla son should show up next, but for the past couple of months, I was thinking, "Why not have them both appear, and be adorable brothers together?"

IDK...what do you think of the idea, and how would the pair interact with each other (and drive Godzilla up the wall)?

Minya was part of an era from the 60s and should stay there (excepting GFW). I'm not opposed to a Godzilla offspring by any means, but again Minya is a product of its time.

Junior pretty much started off as a Heisei version of Minlla. The reason he seems different and people tend to like him more is cause he actually grows up to become a badass. Not to say Minlla helping his dad fight Kumonga wasn't awesome.

They should both be left in the past, IMO. Or out of the LP movie, at least. Never been a fan of the whole Godzilla offspring idea, and it's probably too cheesy for modern mainstream audiences to take seriously.

Godzilla works best when he's unique. He's the King of the Monsters, a god among gods. "There can be only ONE!" or whatever. The presence of other members of the species cheapens that. The original Gojira excluded, of course.

I've always just kinda viewed the two as the same character honestly. I really can't see Toho bringing both back at the same time. I still would like to see one of them return at some point in the future or just combine the two into one character.

Make him grey, a bit more portly, and stubby his snout. It works. Minya can be a legitimate character easily and with minimal effort.

I wouldn't want to see Minya and Junior together... that'd be like a movie that features a Showa Godzilla and GMK Godzilla. They're different takes on the same character. I wouldn't mind seeing the son of Godzilla idea revisited again in the future. If it's Minya, cool... though I agree, I'd like him to look more like a baby Godzilla than a hideous toad-thing. Junior's fine too, but Minya has a lot more personality.

That was always the arrangement in my fanfiction, with the two of them as brothers, though Jr. was older and had to look after the younger, more irresponsible Minya. Of course, in my fanfiction Rodan was a scientist who had a lab under Mosnter Island...

I was thinking, what if Minilla is an adult? When he first hatches he's that weird fetus thing, then the next time you see him he's grown a little and he doesn't change after that. I know they used his suit for DAM because it was still fresh, but for some reason I like the idea of him being just some sort of pygmy Godzilla.

That actually makes a ton of sense. It would explain why he looks SO different from Godzilla. Then consider that Godzilla just finds the egg... it's not like we saw a female Godzilla poop it out... Minya could easily be a totally different species, that Godzilla just sort of decided to raise.

This. I don't understand why this isn't more prevalent thinking considering how simple it is and how much it answers so painlessly. I love the idea of Minya as a Godzilla-like creature.

I kind of like that Godzilla adopted Minya and Junior. From what I've heard of the place of adoption in Japanese culture, it sends a nice message.

I guess I'm interested in Junior and Minya being together because I think the chemistry of two of them together would be more interesting then them just alone. Well, unless the single son interacts with other monster children...
