I miss being 172 cm tall. My favorite number. OH WELL 174 cm (5'8") will have to do. At least I'll probably be nearing 172 pounds pretty soon. I think I've gained 30 pounds since starting college, lol.

Maybe I should lose about ten pounds to shoot for 72 kg instead. :V

I'm thinking the thread title should be changed to height & weight since so many are disclosing that.

I am 6'1" and currently weigh 258 lbs, which is down from my all time high of 272 4 weeks ago. Yes I'm on a diet. Despite being as big as I am I think I carry my weight quite well, in that I dont look like Fat Albert. I dont have a belly that hangs below my shirts or anything like that. Still, I enjoy food, I would never lie about that, and I have never tried to diet before because I've never felt the need to, and despite my size I am still active in sports etc...

However In the past couple of months, my wife has been making changes simply to eat healthier, as a result she has lost quite a bit of weight, not even something she was attempting, just a positive side effect. She is now down to the slender size she was over 10 years ago when we were dating, and I figure the least I can do is give it a shot. The good news is I still have a high metabolism, and my diet is not that rigorous. I have stuck with it for a month, and feel now I have the confidence to go the rest of the way. If all goes according to plan, By December of this year, I should be to my goal of 190, which is just right for my large frame. Still if you are happy where you are good for you, I would never put someone down for being too heavy. But as for me, any encouragement is appreciated as I've stated I've never ventured down the weight loss path before, but I have to admit even though I am still in the early stages, it feels pretty good.

Assuming that's all muscle you're about the same build as me. I could stand to lose about 20 lbs but 210 is my super healthy "look I have abs" weight.

I've lost weight a few times before, and in my experience, it isn't overly difficult. All I did was eat low-fat foods (primarily stuff that's actually good, like low-fat ham or turkey sandwiches, Bagel Bites, pretzels, diet soda, etc.) and do a little basic, gym-class kind of excercise every day, and I lost quite a bit of weight (20-ish pounds, or so) within a few months. Not a lot to it, really. As long as you have any willpower at all, you should be fine.

I used to be 7'11'' and a foot in diameter. I've recently shrunk to 5'11'' and three feet in diameter.

As for me, I'm 5'10" and 290 pounds, but I'm in the middle of some pretty serious weight loss. At the start of the year I was around 325 pounds, but a combination of eating less, exercise and stress have hacked away at my weight. I'm hoping to get to my end goal of 220 pounds by the end of the year. I know 220 sounds like a lot for someone at 5'10", but I have an extremely thick build. I looked sickly and gaunt as hell when I was 200 even back when I was in chemo, so I figure 220 is a good number.
