I always hit Toy Tokyo, Image Anime, those little Chinatown shops (bootleg toys, yay!) and such, but I'm looking to see someplace new. Anyone have anyplace else to recommend? Hole-in-the-wall joints that tend to have a few vinyls, that kind of thing. Suggestions?

Zakka, Forbidden Planet, Children of Paradise, some shops in Chinatown (one was legit place..got a lot of my 8" showa bandai from them at great prices) are all either long gone or they don't really have an impressive inventory of godzilla anymore.

I saw it on HobbySearch and Amiami for around $114.00 - unfortunately they're sold out there.
Where do you think I can find it in stock elsewhere online for the latter price?

Unless it was an unpopular release, which this one wasn't, I wouldn't count on finding one for the price it was when it originally came out. You'll likely have to pay after-market prices now. There's a guy on eBay right now selling one with a Buy It Now of $213 shipped. That's probably the most reasonable price you'll find IMO.

Yeah, I know. Most of the old haunts have been shuttered for ages. That's why I was asking about the potential out-of-the-way places that I might've missed. It was a long shot, but who knows. I never expected the mall in Syracuse, NY to be selling vintage Bandais and Marmits, but damn if the comic shop didn't start doing just that a couple years ago. That's why I like to send out the feelers every now and then; the landscape is always changing.
