Originally I thought having Mechagodzilla in there instead would be pretty cool because MOGUERA was pretty damn lame. Then I thought about it again and thought up two things.

1. Godzilla would probably attack Mechagodzilla the same way he did the year before. The 90's didn't have the same "power of friendship!" that the Showa series did at times.

2. Godzilla did destroy Mechagodzilla anyway. Japanese taxpayers might be plenty stupid, funding giant robots all the time, but not even they would be stupid enough to fund the same one twice in consecutive years especially knowing it had fatal flaws.

I think that Mechagodzilla on screen instead of Mogera would be awesome. I really don't understand how its overkill. Wasn't GvSG an anniversary anyways? It would make sense to me.
And they're all completly different creatures other than the fact that they look similar and have Godzilla in their name anyways. Other than that, everything is different. Its not like you have 3 G'94s fighting eachother. THAT would be weird.

I find that statement kind of odd. They can try to influence their representatives all they want, but they can't just not pay their taxes and they can't control what the government spends it on.

I think would be cool to see Godzilla fight 2 different version of him, one being a robot, the other being an intergalactic mutation, but since Mechagodzilla got blown away by Godzilla, I don't know. Still, would be cool to see.

Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla was - to quote Spock - illogical.

When it comes down to it, it would've made more sense to repair MechaGodzilla rather than to design and construct a brand new mecha from the ground up (how would something like that be accomplished in just one year???). I don't think it would've been overkill, but if the film had better writers, and a better director, it could have worked. But that's just wishful thinking right there.

Personally, Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla would've been better without Mogera in the first place. Mogera's presence was distracting. The movie should have been only about Godzilla and SpaceGodzilla. If G-Force needed to play more of a role, they should have focused more on Project T rather than Mogera. Give Miki some purpose in that film, you know, rather than being a preachy prissy who tries to get people to care for Godzilla.

They should make a movie with Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, Spacegodzilla, Baby Godzilla, Little Godzilla, Ghost Godzilla, Super Godzilla and Godzilla Godzilla.

Too many Godzilla's. For someone like me, I wouldn't mind.

But I think Mechagodzilla teaming up with Godzilla would be too one-sided against Spacegodzilla. Especially if this version had the artificial diamond coating to absorb Spacegodzilla's corona beams.

Why does everyone says it would be a one sided fight SpaceG's power would have been increased to stand up against Godzilla and SMG/MechaGodzilla.

Like many have said, too many Godzilla's in one flick. Also, I always enjoy bringing back Showa-era monsters with an updated look.

i'd have to go with leaving it with Moguera. It would have been repetitive to have MG in another movie after it failed miserably in the end of its own movie. Putting Moguera into GXSG was a much more creative and original decision.

So basically he's Godzilla who disguised himself as GINO/Zilla so that we'd get a shock when the pulls the zipper like a Scooboy Doo villain and removes the suit to show that he was really Godzilla.

What a twist.

I recall seeing somewhere that MOGUERA was constructed from the remains of MG. Part of why Japan didn't try to bring back such an effective weapon.

An all against all, with Sapce godzilla dying first, then Godzilla ripping of Mecha G's head who has been severerly damaged as an homage to the original version in 1974

About the whole MG is immobile thing...

I am perfectly fine with MG being a fairly immobile artillery deployment with very fast hovering capabilities for enhanced mobility. If Mechagodzilla was real, he wouldn't be a bloody Evangelion. Its risky, unnecessarily dangerous and stupid to have the pilots go around trying to punch Godzilla to death, especially if you have a barrier/beam-eating armor.

I voted no simply because I wouldn't want to see Godzilla & MechaG as allies. On the other hand, MechaG is far better than Moguera. Seriously, skreeonk Moguera. There are literally zero redeeming qualities for me with Moguera.

Well the question is... does Space Godzilla have a second brain shoved up his ass too?

I think Godzilla and Mechagodzilla vs. Spacegodzilla WOULD be overkill... but I'm not going to lie, that would be kool as hell! I do think if Godzilla and MechaG teamed up, they would be able to take out SpaceG a whole hell of a lot quicker. And if SpaceG did have an ass brain, MechaG had the right weapons to exploit the hell out of it, I found it weird that the MOGUERA team didn't think about that, I mean they could have used the drill nose... but, then again... it's better MOGUERA didn't stick his nose anywhere close to SpaceG's ass :freak: , but unless there was a Space Fire Rodan flying around to f*ck their plan up, they still should have tried something.
