I try not to get drunk. I did it once, and I hated myself for allowing me to get to that point.

I'll have a drink every now and then, but I'm not a drinker by any stretch.

Actually this past spring break I was drunk just about every night, I only puked the first night, kept a nice buzz going every other night. Good times were had by all.

Havent been drunk really since 2008. I drink. Normal amount I guess. I stick to wine (red) and Maker's Mark, JW Red or Captain Morgans. All straight, or with 1-2 cubes.

Why was this thread not here on Saturday night? Then again, I was waaaay too drunk to be able to use a computer. If I remember, I'll leave a comment on Friday night.

I drink beer (primarily guiness) fairly regularly, but I rarely get drunk. Once in a while I'll get drunk at friends' parties. A friend brought some home-made Mead to a party once and I absolutely LOVED it. But it's hard to get mead around here unless someone makes it locally. My friend flavored his with Oranges. I could not put it down. Has anyone else tried Mead? I would drink it a lot more often if it was more readily available. Apparently it's considered to be one of the oldest fermented drinks.

Ive had mead on accasion not sure what it was mixed witth everytime, but very good, and yea I've heard it's old too, it's been around atleast thousands and thousands of years BC.

It's not common. That's why I said it's hard to get it. It's supposed to be pretty easy to make yourself if you've got the patience, though. It sure is tasty. I'd love to try and make my own sometime.

What kind of wine? I favor a company that puts out tasty table wines. Not companies that make wines for snobs. Coppola wines put out some fine inexpensive wines. I like the Rosso myself. It's a good every-day wine if youre into reds.

Since my lowly race lacks alcohol dehydrogenase enzymes, all it takes is a shot of decent rum for my vision to turn sparkly and my sense of balance and coordination to plummet to negative digits.

Needless to say, I'm entertaining at parties, because apparently there's nothing funnier than a drunk Asian kid asking if Godsmack is a sex position.

Oh, and as for drinks I prefer anything that isn't booze. I end up just mixing it with a can of Red Bull anyways.

I don't drink. The most I've ever had was a small glass of beer (can't remember what kind) about two years ago, which wasn't enough to have any effect on me. I have a feeling I'd be an angry, violent drunk, so... yeah. Not really in a hurry to risk finding out. I would like to try it once someday, though, just to see what it's like.
