I always thought it interesting that other than rumors Lizabeth Scott most likely never had a relationship. Or atleast she never had a public relationship.

She did end up taking a tabloid to court for implying that she was a lesbian. Perhaps they were correct, or perhaps they were just trying to stir something up because she was one of those rare stars that was serious about keeping their private life private.

Despite being in my mid-20s, I still tend to find the actresses of the 40s/50s on average more attractive than the contemporary selection. Not that there aren't a lot of gorgeous actresses out there today, but Hollywood's standards of beauty change over time, and it seems that they moved away from my tastes before I was born.
