VERDICT:
I'd say both kaiju are equals. Both were able to match Godzilla's strength in melee. I'd say Rodan is more durable, I recall it took a few Atomic Rays to the face, Titanosaurus could barley take one. Another advantage would be Rodan's flight, that could possibly be matched by Titanosaurus' Tail Fan. This match would last awhile, but it could go either way.

I think i may get this to titanosaurus. He's a melee fighter like Godzilla, but a bit outclassed.

But his jaws are very powerful. They lifted Godzilla easily by his mouth and slammed him back on the ground. I can imagine Rodan get close to peck him, Titanosaurus pluck Rodan with his jaws and easily slam him to the ground, then stomp on him.

Good job missing the second half of my post. Rodan's flight "advantage" doesn't help him at all when he's fighting an opponent that would utterly demolish him the moment he gets close to make an attack, which he has to do at some point. Just flying around in circles over his opponent is just as useless for him as it is for his opponent.

There's also the part where Titano can jump very well. So he'll be getting his hands on Rodan regardless.

Rodan could pick shit up and drop it on Titanosarus. He's done it before and since they're fighting in Mt. Fuji area there is no shortage of boulders to drop on Titanosarus.

Rodan isn't that weak.

Remember, we're talking about a creature with enough physical strength to not only carry is own huge body through the air, but Godzilla's as well. A creature that took both atomic rays and gravity bolts without any real side effects. A creature that Godzilla only really got one of two real hits on during their fight. A creature that was BOUNCING ROCKS OF HIS OWN HEAD! How do punches and kicks compare to that?

Jesus, Titanosaurus is the most overrated thing on this entire site.

But seriously, Rodan. If he was able to carry Godzilla twice with ease, and be able to take Atomic Rays and Gravity Bolts with no visible damage, I really don't see Titanosaurus winning this.

Rodan was making a complete fool out of Godzilla, and practically laughing in his face the entire time. He was also smart enough to work out a battle plan with Mothra to defeat Ghidora while Godzilla was getting his ass kicked. Rodan is more than capable of dealing with Titanosaurus.

If Rodan can make Godzilla look like a f@cking dumbass, he can deal with Titanosaurus.

Oh my God! Jesus Christ! You're right! Then what's going to happen?? Will Titanosaurus tear Rodan to pieces? That kind of thing is well documented in Godzilla movies, right? Oh wait, no. What will Titanosaurus do then? Punch Rodan a lot and kick him? Well I guess he could, but if Rodan is tough enough to just stand there and take Godzilla's breath (which, if I recall knocked Titano on his ass every time he was hit by it) he can withstand Titano's physical assault. I mean, after all, Rodan was strong enough to fly head first into Ghidora at full speed and fall all the way to the ground with Ghidora on top of him.

I think in the end Titanosaurus will probably just give up and retreat after Rodan knocks him down and throws him around a few times.

I like how everyone is saying Rodan made a fool out of Godzilla when it was the 60's Godzilla he made the fool out of. Titano was able to stand up to the 75 Showa Godzilla for a few minuets who was light years ahead of his 64 fighting style. I can see Rodan giving Titanosaurs a run for his money but Rodan might night have what it takes.

Also look at Rodan in MZ vs DAM looks like Rodan's durability had went way down from 65 to 99 so in 75 he might not even be the same warrior that was making the fool out of Godzilla.

I feel like I end up saying this in every single FM involving Showa Rodan. But here we go again.

Showa Rodan is tough as nails. He can take hits with the best of them. No one is denying that. His problem is that his offense is just plain bad. His most effective means of attack, a high-speed ram, hurts himself just as much as (if not more than) his opponent. Aside from that, what does he have? Useless pecks that do absolutely nothing? Dropping boulders which mildly annoy opponents? Picking up and dropping opponents would probably be a somewhat effective strategy if he actually used it with any frequency. But he doesn't, so that's out too.

Not sure about that. Titanosaurus weighs a good 1.5 x what Godzilla weighs. Not saying he couldn't throw him, just that it wouldn't be easy.

Ah, yes he could. Just like Godzilla tried-oh, no wait. He didn't. He got picked up and dropped groin-first onto a radio tower. How could Titanosaurus even twist his head around enough to bite Rodan's face? You're also forgetting that Titanosaurus never bit his opponents' faces. He did that on Godzilla only once, so there's no chance he'll be able to do that before Rodan carries him away.

You seem to be overrating Titanosaurus. So what if he has a longer neck? He hasn't used that to his advantage much and Rodan could also justtoss boulders at him aside from carring him.
