For those with Netflix- I just found a really cool site:

It has to be one of the most frustrating things, having really no search options to see strictly what is "new". Netflix has a "recently added" category, but from what I've seen isn't very specific. It can have shows added just a day or two ago, but some things I've seen on that list have been with Netflix for months. So I give you this:

http://www.streamingsoon.com/

It is a nice list of strictly what is new, AND whats coming soon. I figure now is as good a time as any to put this site to the test. Keep your radar on Monday 4/23/12, as season 1 of the Original Transformers is supposed to be available to Stream! *(one thing I should note first is that I have had a couple experiences where I could find new items when browsing on my computer, but it would take sometimes up to two additional days before it would allow the item to be added to my personal que on a game console. According to Netflix customer service, sometimes items will show up before they are "truly" fully installed). I know probably most Transformers fans such as myself have this on DVD in some form or another, but for those that dont, here is another legal option besides watching them on the HUB.

Oh i love the idea of this thread!

The Machinist was a good Thriller movie. I would love to hear other film suggestions too.
Apparently the Human Centipede 2 is on there now...do I dare watch?

I hear the second Human Centipede movie was worst. I was unable to finish the first movie and I have no plans to see the sequel. I can hardly sit through Phelous review of the film, I'm glad that I didn't see that movie.

You know what I hate about Netflix? The Canadian version sucks. :( Seriously, whenever I set out to find a particular movie on netflix, 80% of the time they don't have it! Canada's netflix is composed primarily of brand new Hollywood films and really bad B-Movies. Oh, and a bunch of very obscure TV shows. Can't forget those.

Really? Cause last time I checked, you guys had stuff like War of the Gargantuas and Orochi the Eight Headed Dragon over there.

...Or was it all a lie?

I've never seen it, but every time I search for a movie it's DVD only. And TV's New Releases is always full of shows I've never heard of. Maybe, they aren't exactly the same, and maybe there is some country exclusive content, but on the whole? Doesn't sound that different.

Fans of old school Cartoon Network (back when it was good) are in for a treat if you have Netflix Instant Streaming. berginning 3/30 they are going to offer quite a few CN original shows: Samurai Jack, PPG, Courage, Johnny Bravo, and MORE. Even some DC shows like Batman Beyond, Justice League etc...

http://www.streamingsoon.com/

I apologize the list can't be sorted, but if you look there is tons of stuff on there to keep kids young & old occupied for some time. Also if you dont see them on 3/30-4/1 dont fret, some devices such as Wii. XBox etc... take a couple of days whereas most Computers & "Smart" TV's will likely have them right away.

I'll focus on the foreign stuff since some of it might fly way under the radar for Netflix Instant users, except for the classic Japanese sci-fi stuff and some stuff related to Toho.

Japan

Karate-Robo Zaborgar
Outrage
Assault Girls
When the Last Sword is Drawn

Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster
Godzilla vs Monster Zero
Godzilla's Revenge
Terror of Mechagodzilla

China
Ip Man
Ip Man 2
Fearless
Red Cliff (haven't watched the trimmed US version, but think highly of the original "international" version)
Painted Skin: The Resurrection
The Flowers of War
The Mighty Peking Man

South Korea
The Man From Nowhere
My Way
A Moment to Remember
War of the Arrows
I Saw the Devil
The Thieves
The Chaser
The Righteous Thief
The Good, the Bad, the Weird
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Oldboy
Lady Vengeance
The Host
Doomsday Book

Other
The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (UK)
Downfall (Germany)
Barfi! (India)
Kahaani (India)
Dragon Tattoo trilogy (Sweden)
Trollhunter (Norway)
Warriors of the Rainbow (Taiwanese, listed under Chinese)
Kingdom of War (Part 1 and 2, Thai, listed under Southeast Asian)
Ong-Bak trilogy (primarily the first one though)
Owl and the Sparrow (Vietnamese, listed under Southeast Asian)

Classics
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

Breakfast at Tiffany's
Once Upon a Time in the West

Might add some more later. Didn't even touch TV or animated productions.

No, although it's possible that they offer it through their DVD service.

Can anyone recommend some good anime out of the Netflix instant choices? Already have seen Black Butler, FMA, Trigun, and Samurai Champloo.

And any news what the Disney-Netflix deal is going to yield for Netflix instant? (for instance, marvel, star wars titles, etc)

Anime -- Elfen Lied (Caution: very R-rated content), Darker Than Black

No idea on the D-N deal but there's a good list of Marvel stuff, animated and live action, already on Netflix.

I'm not sure about any of Disney owned sub-properties (Marvel, Muppets, Star Wars etc..) but I know a few Disney animated films were added about 6 months ago Dumbo, The Rescuers, Pocahontas, Alice in Wonderland, Fox & The Hound etc...
