My little Pony: Friendship is magic

So I'm not the only one who watches this show online!

Nope. I initially watched the whole first season on YouTube when first getting into the show, and still use it if I miss a new ep's TV premiere, or to rewatch episodes. I kinda prefer my computer's presentation of the show, actually; it has better sound and color than my TV.

And Kiryu2012's Nightmare on Sugarcube Street and Not-so Gummy ideas are both episodes I'd like to see. Maybe Pinkie wouldn't be afraid of Spike specifically, but having her deal with irrational fear is a good idea. And Gummy, like all the pets, could always use more attention. And the alligators-grow-up-to-be-huge-pony-eating-predators issue is something I've wanted to see addressed since his introduction.

Wow. For being advertised and hyped so much, they didn't let many surprises out.

First of all, I'd like to point out that LYRA SPOKE! And she's apparently important enough to be a bride's maid for a princess. We did see her at Celestia's School for Talented Unicorns. I guess she made friends with Cadence there. Speaking of, totally didn't expect evil vibes from Cadence. Didn't expect a fake princess and new villain even more. And the duel Changeling Queen-Cadence song was pretty awesome. About time we got a villain song (a song from Discord would have been nice in his episodes). Cool fight between the Man Six and their changeling doubles. I liked the trickery involved, like Fluttershy pretending to be a copy or Rainbow Dash ambushing her changeling 'allies.' Kinda got a Powerpuff Girls vibe from the end of it. And Pinkie's party cannon returns! In combat even. AND LYRA SPOKE! Glad that we got to see Luna. I wonder... maybe she's only active during the night? Ya' know, like she needs power from her celestial body to stay conscious or something. I know we've seen Celestia at night, but she is the older, and assumably more powerful, sister. Plus, a thousand years on the moon have to hinder you some. Anywho, I did wish we had seen more of real, non-evil Cadence though. Never got a good feel for her true self. Well, if we got a Luna episode, maybe we can get Shining Armor and Cadence again too.

Guess what? LYRA SPOKE! Just though I should mention that.

... I wonder if Hayes was rendered catatonic by Lyra speaking?

Are you kidding? I trained with Tibetan monks on the highest mountain peaks, in the most extreme whiteout conditions, for five whole years in order to hone my soul, body, and mind against anything that threatened their integrity.

I stood no chance against speaking Lyra. Was medically dead for at least an hour.

Not-so Gummy: After Gummy grows and gains his teeth, Pinkie Pie fears she'll have to set Gummy free.

This is the only of your dream episodes I could actually see happening. Under a punnier name of course.

Although, one where Pinkie deals with an irrational fear seems possible, just not of Spike. Same with your "Fluttermitten" episode. Could see Fluttershy having a secret crush, but not on a mainly fanon character like Doctor Whooves.

Here are a few more dream eps I was thinking off:

Pie Eating Contest: Pinkie Pie decides that, in order for her to really show her love of her friends, she should be eaten by one of the others of the Mane 6. The only trouble is, everypony else wants to be the one to eat her, thus begins a feeding frenzy amongst Ponyville.

A Dragon in London: Spike accidently gets shipped to London and tries to find a way back, while meeting a new friend.

Attack of the Snakies: Four-legged snakes swarm Ponyville and other towns, but Twilight and the others aren't sure if they should be feared.

Love hurts: After being rejected by Rarity, Spike goes into a depression, and the way he vents is becoming more and more dangerous...

Nowhere but down: Princess Luna gets trapped in Tarturus, and the only one who could get her out may be the one to take her life...

See everything: A bizzare dinosaur that always says SEE? intrudes in Ponyville, and becomes incredibly annoying. The trouble is, the ponies can't get enough of it.

Dance to Death: Fluttershy and Rarity enter a dancing competition, but they soon find out the truth about the place...

My Little Dino:(2 part episode) After a mishap in the Princess' magic, everypony in Equestria is transformed into dinosaurs, and without any magic, they need to find a way to change back, and with a growing danger amongst each other, they have to figure it out quickly.

No more Rodeos: A lion enters Ponyville, and seems very nice, but for some reason, everytime he sees any of the Apple family, he becomes furious.

The new Rainbow Dash: Spike and Rainbow Dash switch bodies, and Twilight has to switch them back before RD's audition for the Wonderbolts begins.

Anywho, I really liked the episodes. At first I was like "Elements of harmony AGAIN?", but it was pretty neat to see a change in hero's. Plus, would've been nice to see more of Princess Luna, possibly entering the fray.

I'm speechless...

In case anyone didn't notice, Vinyl Scratch shows her eyes for a second, they are pink or magneta. Some time ago someone disarmed her flash file from a game, and those were her colors, but no one expected her to show them in the episode. Mystery solved, everyone.

Also, the changlins, their Queen, and how they trapped Celestia in some green slimy stuff... oh please, I can't be the only one who was reminded of "Aliens"... I've been dreaming about the series making a reference to "Alien" in any way shape or form, maybe I'm delutional... but happy.

Honestly, I was kind of expecting Candence to be a villain... from the sinopsis telling about some "dark secret" of her, to one of the animators saying he worked in a very disturbing scenne... but then you have Hasbro, and all they expect from her merchandise, with all the publicity and hype, it would be weird if it was all about a villain, so I was kind of expecting a twist involving an impostor. Not that I'm complaining; as anyone I have seen tons of cartoons through my life, one gets used to many storylines; for the children that are the target audience, however, I'm sure it will be interesting, specially if people who already know how it's going to turn out can enjoy it anyway.

Yeah, it was pretty cheesy, but, hey, it's a wedding episode for a kid's show. What else can you expect? And at least it was a change from the Elements of Harmony.

So... as several pics/bronies have already pointed out, changelings present a good canon explination for pony clones. A concerning explanation considering the number of them, but still a convenient one.

I wonder what may have happened if Spike tried fighting alongside the Mane 6. Most likely he would show off some moves that would've toughened his image. I still would like to see Godzilla take on the Changelings. He would be fighting an army of himself.
