Ok, sorry for following up late on this, as I wasn't able to make any purchases due to work (it's busy season right now).
Anyways, the figure that I ended up purchasing was....
*DRUM ROLL*...

Thanks everyone for your feedback and participation. This will make a fine addition to the family. Basically, my choice came down to several factors. First of all, I am different from most collectors on here in that I don't collect a particular line; instead, I'm solely concerned with getting whatever I feel is the best *figure* of each particular Godzilla-related kaiju, regardless of toy company or style. That's why I lovingly refer to figures as my "rag tag collection", as I have a mixture of both stylized and realistic figures standing hand in hand with each other.
In this case, I feel that the Marmit MH is the best representation of FW Angilas in 8 inch scale. Bandai's FW Angilas is a fine figure and certainly more "realistic", but for whatever reason, Bandai has *always* made their Angilas figures a tad bit on the small side. When I first got the 8 inch FW Angy figure, I honestly wasn't sure if it was suppose to be 6 inch or 8 inch scale, and it looked tiny next to the GFW-Goji figure. Likewise, their classic 8-inch Showa Angilas figure remains one of my favorites, but it's also rather small compared to Bandai's other 8 inch figures and doesn't scale all that well with others in the 8 inch line. Finally, I just don't see this particular Marmit figure that often (I've only seen it once before, and that was 3 years ago in a rather ugly yellow-ish variant).
The Mothra Figure is a Bandai figure that's not that difficult to find in Japan (once I actually started looking out for it, I easily found it several places). The MH Gira-Godzilla figure is nice and I might buy it later on if it's still available, but I already have the excellent MH G2k figure and don't feel an urgent need for yet another figure of a suit that's not really one of my favorite suits to begin with. Finally, the "stand" thingy completely turned me off from buying the otherwise excellent Xplus figure. I really don't understand why Xplus does stupid sh*t like this...there is so much damn potential in this line. I really want to love and fully embrace this line, I really do...but they're too inconsistent with silly nonsense like this. Besides, as Legion pointed out, I already have the outstanding Gigabrain Mosu-Goji figure, and that more than suits me just fine.
Once again, thanks everyone for your comments and advice. I might do this again in the future as it was quite fun
