I downloaded it and it said "can't connect to EA's servers" and it kicked me out.

Played a few hours. I skreeonk love it. Despite the fact that it's alot harder than Bad Company 2. The learning curve is more akin to BF2 and 2142.

Hopefully DICE fixes the ability to go prone. For some reason, my soldier keeps dropping through the ground everytime he goes prone...

Gotta say I like BFBC2 more. Now the BFBC2 demo was grand. B3 demo has no vehicles or anything. It just doesn't fell like Battlefield. Of course this is just a demo but I am worried now. I am sure it is for nothing but destructability is also something that really wasn't present.

Wow, the first section of Operation Metro is glitched to hell. I feel like I'm walking on a field of sinkholes.

Anyone pick up BF3 yet? I hear the 360 version of the game is having some graphic issues with some of the stuff in the game looking rather ugly looking. For example:

The console versions have to install an HD pack to accommodate the Frostbite 3 engine. I think it gets prompted when you insert the disc.

Yeah, my 360 spent a good five/six minutes updating itself in order to present the beauty that is BF3.

And I'm loving this game so far.

Eh, I think a lot of those people are just trying it out to see if they like it. I know a guy who pirated it and played it for 3 hours before he went out and bought it. Games are $60 and once you buy them, you're screwed on a refund if you don't like it.

Perhaps a decent amount of those people, but I do doubt that majority of them are gonna head out and buy the game. With money being tight and a fragile economy, I see them mostly keeping their free copy of the game. And maybe, if they truly want to show support, they'll probably wait for a price drop and buy the game legally.

Anyone get the Back to Karkand pack yet? Gotta say, it's pretty slick, though they definately skrunk Sharqi Peninsula, compared to Battlefield 2.
