Hopefully not wild in the same sense as riding a flaming roller coaster off of a cliff.

Probably not. But heck, something tells me this is going to be a more enjoyable read than KOM. Hopefully we'll have less flaws here... But from the way things sounded with the writer, he seems to know what he's doing.

That's Angy in thunderball mode, and his head's based on the FW version. I love the art style on the cover. Very dynamic yet detailed.

Finally! Story related covers! Man, I missed those after Powell left KOM (even though we only got Frank or Zornow covers most of the time, lol). This is good news here. :) Though I heard of some Harris fellow...

Not crazy about the art, but it is nice to see art that actually relates to the story now. I'm excited to give this a shot.

Yes, those were really cool ideas that reminded me of some of my speculations about Gigan's origins when I was a kid (and continually hoping that he'd show up in a Heisei film). I think that was Bobby Curnow, though, instead of Mowry?

I like the Anguirus cover, It may work for the comic... though at first I thought he had swallowed his own tail.

lol. But if you look at (at least) Hester's drawings of Anguirus, you can see that Anguirus has his tail in his mouth. It's strange, but makes some sense, I guess.

Man, FW Anguirus looks awesome with Showa colors...

I love the look on Boxer's face. He's like, "Damn, I'm screwed." No fear, more like... annoyance.

"I'm getting too old for this shit!"

But seriously, that cover looks sweet. And the fact that it actually connects with the story inside, well it's about damn time!

I find this character extremely implausible in the context of its' own universe...what does he intend to do? He has a gun...but what is he going to shoot with it? He is pretty much as vulnerable in that pic as a schoolgirl. If this guy is actually capable of harming a monster in any way outside of a mech, I'm quitting.
It isn't conderacting if i'm pissed.

Unless it's a cheap shot to the eyeball or some weirdo with a chemical or something. We don't know who the other folks are (with the exception of Urv).

No more sediments? D'awww, so sad.

Surprisingly, the owner of my comic shop has more faith in this than KoM. He's not a big Goji fan, but he didn't care for KoM.

I think it'd actually be a neat change of pace if these characters find a way of hurting these enormous beasts without having to crawl into yet another mech. That's been done to death.

Like the preview showing the groom hurling an improvised bomb at Kumonga. That's very inspired and something we haven't really seen before.

These humans could develop weapons that can harm kaiju. It's not that hard to grasp.

Hell, the mutants in Final Wars took Ebirah out with some laser guns!

I think that is a sniper rifle... sorta. Maybe he shot Anguirus' eye to distract him or call his atention?

I understand why the comic producers got the idea of nuking a monster out of the way in Godzilla KOM #1, but I can't help but think humanity would try that at least one more time on one of the other monsters.
