Monster X II?

I noticed that the copyright symbol for Keizer Ghidorah is Monster X II. So is that supposed to be his real name or just something for the symbol?

I guess Toho called Keizer Ghidorah "Monster X II" to avoid spoiling the final monster in GFW (Although that surprise was ruined by Sony's DVD cover). This should probably help you. http://www.tohokingdom.com/articles/art_names.htm

Shit, I remember on Goji Stomp we had the GFW Spoiler thread, and Non Spoiler thread. I remember Gorosaurus' name constantly being mentioned, and when the actual monster list came out I really didnt want to see who was in that we'd hadn't seen in a while.
Needless to say, I cheated and sneaked a peek. Imagine my surprise when instead of Gorosaurus it was Gin- I mean Zilla.

No, it wasn't until after that I joined TK. The hate for GFW has only gotten stronger. Some fans need to feed off that negative energy, like the Emperor or something.

Actually GFW had pretty fair popularity in 2005 and early 2006. The hate didn't really get big until around 2007.

Maybe it was. However, Ghidorah wasn't the real Ghidorah anyways, so who cares.

Also in the Sony DVD, the scene select titles it "Godzilla Vs Kaiser Ghidorah"

So, also in a sense, it has a variation of the name Kaiser/Keizer. I personally think "Keizer" is just plain cooler.

Also, him being on the cover of the DVD & the main menu pissed me off.

I remember back in 2004 that when Kaiser Ghidorah was reported, it was mention that it was King Ghidorah on four legs. Most people thought (like myself) that we would get DesGhidorah or something similar, but it looks like we where right. We all saw it coming.

I never said nobody hated it, just that it wasn't as universally hated as it is now. (Rightfully so, but not the point.)

Final Wars always had mixed reviews by fans and critics. People hated it since it was his 50th birthday, and we got a poor man's version of the Matrix mixed with X-men.

I remember Gorosaurus and Ganime names where listed down as well. Too bad they where replace by Zilla, and Ebirah. That might be why Ebirah was soo weak in the movie.

You know i didn't like this movie either, but im going to be honest the more i read about how much people dislike this movie the more im starting to have a soft spot for it. Obviously it's far from perfect an there's hardly anyway to defend this film.. But im starting to find it mildly entertaining for what it is.

Maybe in time, an after several more viewing's i might be able to say i actually like it who knows.
