Also it was filmed in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia!

I love this film. Probably one of my biggest guilty pleasures.

Good film. The monster wasn't the real villain though.

I was hoping they'd pull an "Orca" and have the beastie kill Kanin.

I agree. Although the ending of Orca always pisses me off. That guy was genuinely repentant, and the whole mess was an accident. Stupid oversized dolphin.

Ehh, I don't know. I felt bad for both characters in the end but the orca saw his mate and his unborn child die at the hands of the hunter, it would have been wrong for him to have died in the end.

Found the film OK. Could have been better. The monster design was great and unique. And Ron Perlmans role was tiny and completely wasted potential. I'll never get why they decided to kill him off before the final monster hunt. It's really a mystery to me.

I enjoyed the movie but it was forgettable. Honestly, I prefered Mutant Chronicles.

Thought it was faaar too long, to be honest, and it took itself way too seriously for such a zany B-movie premise. The monster was quite neat looking, though.
