What is wrong with this line, in particular?

Of coarse it doesn't make sense to you^

Well, in the Japanese version he's actually talking about the monsters (Like he should)
But in the dub, he talks about a typhoon.

Nice insult Goji

And I think I'd know what we're discussing in this thread ( you know, since I'm the author of it! ) so don't tell me what we are and are not discussing!

It sounds a bit odd because he's insinuating we know about the storm when we don't. At least that's how I see it.

yeah sorry about that, Goji posted a reply and insulted me, but he/she must have deleted it....

Goji's deleted messege was about my post about me saying I didn't like that scene in DAM saying "Remember that Typhoon?"

Saying that it didn't make sense for me not to like it.

And then ranting on that this wasn't the right thread for my comment, that this thread was only for the dubs that "sound" horrible, then calling me the "stupidest mother skreeeeeonk around here!"

But like I said, I think I know good and well what this thread is about, sense I made it....

You said the "line sounds random". How does something sound random? Explain that to me, please. The subject matter, is random, that has nothing to do with how it sounds.

Man, you really like the  smiley huh? I really wish I had more reasons to use  around these parts. It really is one of the best smileys. I mean, just look at it-. Isn't it fantastic? There are plenty of instances where  would be appropriate on this forum...but the problem is, over-usage of  shows how terrible you are at coming up with something constructive to say.

I still fail to see why your initial response said " of course I wouldn't understand it". I'm not the one who's borderline retarded.

Comparing monster attacks to typhoons makes sense. Just look at any area that was hit by a hurricane/tornado and you'll find much familiar imagery.
Every film should have at least one animal attack.

It might have something to do with context; I'll need to watch the movie again (but I packed my computer).
It'll be a while until I can watch my movies; everything I own is being shipped back to the States...

hey watch it, some people take that offensive.

And even the in the commentary for DAM, he brings up the line "Remeber that Typhoon?" and also thinks it's strange insted of discussing what they should do with the kaiju problem, along with the "I'm tired" line.

As much as I enjoy what Steve and Ed have to say, I find the hate towards the Frontier dub extremely cliché.

Yes, one would assume you're not the only person in the world that has listened to the commentary.

Well apperently you haven't since you acted as if it was a problem that only I had with the dub.

I listened to it months ago, and that line was infamous years before you pointed it out to anyone.

..Pfft. People asked you why you thought it "sounded random", not why you didn't like it. At this point though, nobody cares. Believe me.
